How many of the current 5 stars are we in the serious running for? I know we are still on Trey Sanders and Clay Webb is likely ours. Who else

All of them this time of year but recruiting if fluid and we will know better come early signing in December

You do realize that Saban isn't looking at "stars" and IS looking for fits into our system, both as players and as teammates? I'm just saying that even though a class may have 25-30 kids listed as 5*, CNS may only offer 10-15 of those guys depending on their fit. So, it is really difficult to say "who we are in the running for?"
According to 247, we have offered 23 of their 28 5* kids.

I am aware of that and different sites have different names listed. Maybe that was a dumb question. I typically only look at 247

LSU is thin at CB and he should've (and could've) taken a commitment from Mario Goodrich a few weeks ago.
What baffles me is why he wouldn't just take both. I mean Surtain is a plug n play guy but they still would have only 5 CBs on roster if they had landed him. CB was a major need so take as many as you can get
I get the wanting another QB but they have 3 young guys on the roster. Seems like having only 4 CBs is a worse situation than 3 QBs

That melt was stolen straight off their local radio show hanagriff and ott

Exactly. It makes NO sense. Foster (a project) was much more likely to pick ATM or FSU than LSU. Goodrich (he good) would've gone to LSU.

They are melting hard on the LSU board. They keep making new threads every hour

Tigerfan 64 and Placebeaux are having a really tough time with Surtain picking Bama.
I wish they would do this. We would be up by at least 21 points by the second quarter.

If you're gonna act like a low class POS, you're gonna get treated like a low class POS. Surtain needs to be hit every snap. Let it send a message to Bama and other recruits that when you play classless games you get your shite pushed in. I'm even down for the classic overthrow to the sideline to run Sabans arse over. frick them.

If I'm LSU's offensive coordinator I'm running screens to his side of the field as much as I can and I'm going to have the biggest meanest TE flip his s*** every play. He is going to not want to play football by the second quarter.

Definitely an immature, dick move by Surtain, Jr. He called Orgeron at 11:00pm Tuesday night. I have lost all respect for him and his father (who will likely be working for Saban at some point). To hell with both of those pos for what they did. Surtain, Jr. could have let LSU know at least a week before, because he knew after his Alabama vist that he wasn't coming here. The Surtains are apparently selfish a-holes. Screw 'em.

F*** it losing doesn't hurt anymore but somebody's going to walk away in a f****** stretcher. Somebody's going to wish they never played football that night and they won't be wearing purple and gold

Trey Sanders might be hard to reek back in, likes FSU a lot and he liked Jimbo too.
Jimbo seemed so close to pulling the trigger on his brother(JuCo LB) late in this class. Didn't happen though...

Early look at 2019
DL especially DT's are a must get for this year. Trey is important as well
We need 5-6DL and 2RB in this class.
