LINEBACKERS
Horn Lake (Miss.) Nakobe Dean is currently ranked as the nation’s No. 1 linebacker. The 6-foot, 216-pound Dean packs a serious punch when tackling ball carriers, and the 4.75-second forty he clocked is respectable. In the same mold, Auburn commit Owen Pappoe of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson stands 6-foot-0.5, 209-pounds, but he can simply fly after blazing a 4.47-second forty. Pappoe’s elite athleticism might be enough for him to overtake Dean.
Penn State commit Brandon Smith is a different type of linebacker than the two previously mention as he stands 6-foot-4, 223-pounds. The Mineral (Va.) Louisia County product also tests off the charts with a 4.59-second forty and a 4.38-second short shuttle, and he can make plays sideline to sideline. How Smith performs in the open field will help determine if he’s able to leapfrog both Dean and Pappoe.

DEFENSIVE BACKS
LSU commit Derek Stingley of Baton Rouge (La.) Dunham School is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 cornerback after a stellar combine performance saw him run a 4.30-second forty and a vertical jump of over 40 inches. This weekend is a chance for Florida State commit Akeem Dent of West Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central to take top billing. Dent is an elite cover corner that simply has a knack for staying attached to receivers. Oregon commit Mykael Wright of Valencia (Ca.) is another that will be gunning for that top cornerback spot at The Opening Finals. Wright also tests off the charts, blazing a 4.48-second forty, and makes plays in all three facets of the game on Friday nights.
The fight at the top of the safety board looks to be between two players — Daxton Hill, the current No. 1, and Nick Cross, who sits at No. 2. Hill, a Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington product, is another that shredded the combine with an impressive 4.30-second forty and a 40-inch vertical jump at 6-foot-0.5, 187. Cross ran a 4.48-second forty at 6-foot-0.5, 208-pounds. Both make plenty of plays on the field as well. Who makes more plays this week in Texas will be another opportunity to determine this safety battle.

You're now the 3rd or 4th person who's tossed out the word "alter" and can't define it.
An alter is someone who has posted on a board before under a different name and then decides to create a new user name so they can "hit the reset button" and post again without their history being factored into their new posts. People usually create alters for one of several reasons:
1) annoyed the shite out of everyone on your original account and decided to start over and not be so annoying (usually doesn't work b/c their personality will eventually shine through)
2) they were a pretendsider and got called out on it. they still want to post and interact with others, but they know people don't take that user name seriously anymore due to the BS they've posted in the past. So they create an alter
3) they want to troll

We are going to pay for that commitment video. The trolling is going to get bad.

LINK ]BREAKING: Tide lands state's top player Jayson Jones (BamaOnLine)

Alabama is benefiting from the wealth of in-state talent in the 2019 recruiting cycle and is doing the same thus far in 2020. On Monday, the state’s No. 1 underclassmen, four-star defensive tackle Jayson Jones, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide over Georgia, among several others, through a video (Twitter) with AL.com.
“I already have a connection with the teammates, it’s a great school, Nick Saban loves me and I love him,” Jones told BamaOnLine of why he’s choosing Alabama. “What stands out to me the most about Alabama is Nick Saban himself, anytime I’m on a visit, stops in his tracks and talks to me. That makes me feel like he wants me. That makes me feel special.”
The Calera (Ala.) product saw his recruitment take off following a strong sophomore season. The Crimson Tide joined the race alongside several other Power Five programs last December. This spring, Jones named the Tide his leader heading into the summer.
Aside from Saban, the 6-foot-5, 322-pounder has had the opportunity to build relationships with several of Alabama’s staff members. It’s defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi who has led the charge as Jones’ primary recruiter.
“Coach Kool (Craig Kuligowski), he’s like one of those head coaches that is a D-line coach,” Jones said. “I could really see him be a great head coach. Coach Tosh Lupoi, I love talking to him. Me and him always have great ideas. He’s such a great person. Coach (Brent) Key is my man, though. I love him. He’s the first person I met. He’d be the first coach I would ever see on the campus. He’s such a great guy.”
With a commitment made, Jones plans to still utilize his official visits and give other schools a chance in his recruitment with over a year still remaining before he is able to sign.
Jones is commitment No. 5 in the Tide’s 2020 class, which, like the 2019 group, has picked up momentum this spring. Along with long-time pledge Javier Morton, four-star inside ‘backer Jackson Bratton of Muscle Shoals (Ala.) committed to start things off in March. In April, the state’s top wideout in Dazalin Worsham of Hewitt-Trussville committed to Alabama. Last week, three-star signal caller Carson Beck joined the Tide’s class after flipping his commitment from Florida baseball.
Overall, Alabama’s class ranks No. 2 in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings, behind Miami.
The 2020 cycle figures to be another strong class in the state of Alabama. The Tide already hold commitments from three of the top five players. Other top targets include four-star cornerback Malachi Moore of Hewitt-Trussville, four-star running back Roydell Williams, and four-star athlete and Tennessee commit Kristian Story.

Or maybe you have a top two and the other three are just thrown in there because you want to take 5 official visits.

It was officially a 66 yard pass. He beat the second place guy by like 2-3 yards
