I’ve looked everywhere today but I can’t find any info on Williams the DB prospect from Daphne, AL? Does any of y’all know the scoop? Is he stilll ours or did he flip to LSU?
ETA: damn the post above me says Williams to Miami? I really wanted that dude. We needed him bad.

Eh, would be a pretty big loss. I like those three, but we needed more.

UT guy Price is saying that it was UW yesterday but UT staff worked hard last night to change him.
So UA I guess was not in it now.

I put out that Tennessee was going in the extra mile for this one in a thread this morning. They spent a ton of time working Henry last night. Lots of momentum with Tennessee right now. This would be quite the coup as Henry was looking like he was staying on the west coast as his parents liked the idea, but they are letting him make this decision and that's why things have swung. He loves Brian Niedermeyer.
So UA I guess was not in it now.

Based off of what? I just dont see it as a big loss? He has nice film but he isnt a cant miss prospect. Not to mention Lee and Harris both played well against similar talent in all star games.

He was least position of need after last years haul and taking like 5 DBs this year.

Alabama had to have a top DL class. It was a thin spot in 2018, even with Quinnen Williams’ explosive development. Alfano/Sopsher/Young/Eboigbe/Dale/Ingraham is a solid response.

I’m from Mobile and I like to keep the Mobile and over the bay kids coming to Bama. Well at least he didn’t go to LSU.

They need to be as good as who we can pull from elsewhere and he would've been the lowest rated out of that class. Being from Alabama doesn't make them any better once they touch the field.

Bama knocked it out of the park with DL and OL recruiting this cycle.
Throw in a damn good secondary class, meet needs at QB with two solid QB and added a great RB. Hopefully, adding another RB soon (Robinson).
Got a good LB class, though their have been several misses there.
Still a hell of a class.
