If we have some players that can’t get on the field here and want to transfer, I hope they go to Maryland. It didn’t bother me when Warmack went to Oregon . Keep it in the blood so to speak ...

I just started a thread on BOL about it. We'll see what Hank and Tim have to say. If it gets zapped we'll know it is true.

That thread went as I thought it would. Tim said Keilan has told BOL he didn't sign early and plans to sign at a ceremony with teammates in Feb. So, even if Robinson did sign early to lock down his spot, he wouldn't acknowledge that before the ceremony.

Until proven wrong all those St. John's College HS kids signed and are waiting to Feb for the ceremony.

I'm calling that school to let them know they need to get it together and organize a December signing ceremony. I'm not going through this every year. I can get you a back drop, table, some chairs and call an assembly. It ain't that hard

This kind of shite drives me crazy. The school is prioritizing their weird arse priorities/beliefs over the opportunity for these kids who have worked their asses off to sign publicly when they choose.

Seth emerson just tweeted Luke Ford is officially transferring to Illinois.
Ford tweeted out an official announcement.

That is now 3 commits out of the vaunted 2018 class who have left or never made it (joseph). Drops the class to a 312.55 (I know that doesn't mean anything, but gives some context for the talent drop from just those 3)

Just because I know our angry Georgia fan is hate reading this post, just wanted to point out that Ridley, Hardman, holyfield and Nauta all announced they are leaving for the draft today too.

Best part is that if you go read the threads on their sites... it's a whole lot of delusion and downplaying how much this actually hurts them. Two weeks ago they were saying next year was going to the year with the most talented this team has even been and instead they just lost all of their starting receiving threats.

Thought Ridley was just a soph??? but if has been out of HS 3 years... more power to him. The way uGa is playing, why stay back and be in another subpar bowl

Hardman is gone too. The sun is basically setting on their 2015 and 2016 classes. There will be a ton of pressure on that 2017 class to come through next year. The first Natty since 80 is the ultimate goal but I think anything less than a good showing in the playoff next year and the natives will get extremely unhappy.

think most of the Grads are either Seniors or already presumed to be declaring for the draft... Would think that if any of the Jr's or RJr's graduate in May, they might take a look at UTen, Maryland or even Oregon... if the "Guys they know from Bama" need some good players who just couldnt get on the field at Bama...well great, more power to them.. just dont go to the Barn

THE STORYLINE

LINK ]Darnell Wright is a wanted man on the recruiting trail. The five-star offensive tackle might be headed in one direction - Tennessee - and leaving everybody else behind.

Right before the dead period, Wright took another visit to Tennessee instead of an official trip to Georgia. He still plans to see Georgia, North Carolina and West Virginia in January before National Signing Day, but it sure seems like the Vols have vaulted to the top spot in his recruitment.

Alabama was right there for a long time, but now with weeks to go in his recruitment, Georgia is trying to make a serious push, the new staff at North Carolina is getting more involved and the situation at West Virginia is unknown, and seriously unlikely he would go there, since no coaching staff is in place.

Does Tennessee have the lock on the five-star offensive tackle or is January going to be so unpredictable for him there’s no telling where he will end up?

FIRST TAKE: ADAM FRIEDMAN, MID-ATLANTIC RECRUITING ANALYST

“I'm fairly confident Tennessee is a lock to get Wright. The fact that he cancelled his UGA official visit that was scheduled for the last weekend before the dead period and went to Tennessee for an unofficial visit instead speaks volumes.”

SECOND TAKE: MIKE FARRELL, NATIONAL RECRUITING DIRECTOR

“Most people think it’s over. Some people actually think he kind of regrets not signing in the early period and getting it over with because he knows where he wants to go.

“He has friends at North Carolina, he’s going to look at West Virginia out of respect for his home state school. I don't know if Alabama needs him. It has Evan Neal and it is pretty happy. The Tide would take him, but it’s not like they’re pushing like Tennessee. Tennessee is recruiting him the hardest, he has the most connections to that school and most people think it’s pretty much over.”

Seriously man Locksley was a heck of a guy for us.

Locked has been a great play caller, recruiter and leader for this offense. He's been the entire package and it's sickening how a few try to find something wrong with him for whatever reason.

He's the best OC Saban has had. Better than Applewhie, McElwain, Nussmeier, Kiffin, Sarkisian and Daboll.

He even left as a gentleman.

Didn't start shite with Saban.

Didn't try to sabotage the class even though many of these high ranking kids are his work (Neal, Dalcourt, S.Lee, K.Rob, etc).

He has worked hard for Alabama and never neglected his duties and we can see that with how great a game he called against Oklahoma.

What a guy. Wish Locksley all the luck and if kids want to transfer I hope they go to Maryland!
