I think there's very strong mutual interest with Sorrells, but I think Bama will only sign two more DL, Young and Sopsher being the top targets. So, I think he's behind them and Pickering too on Bama's board.

If we land Banks, I almost wonder if the staff has concerns with William’s grades or something like that. Just hard to picture us signing so many DBs this cycle after signing a big DB class last cycle.

There's been some speculation that Williams was going to bail ever since Carter jumped on board. Him not signing early did nothing to put those concerns at ease. I think he feels like the DB room might be too full at Alabama. Banks may just go ahead and take his spot.

Banks picked up a few more "follow the leader" CBs for Bama. Today's total is 16 so far. Split is now 64% Bama, 36% ATM.

I can see signing this many bc we basically had Smith, Surtain and Diggs all year. JAD will be back but not many true corners on the team

I was thinking if Williams doesn't like our DB room good luck with what LSU has going. However I looked at thier last 5 years of cornerback recruiting prior to this year and was shocked at how sparse it was. I wouldn't be suprised if he went there. There is a lot of opportunity there.

Other than Patrick Peterson it seems that their top recruited DBs arent the ones that end up being good.

Noa Pola-Gates says Bama isn't recruiting him as hard lately and that Nebraska and Arizona St are pushing hardest for him. He'll announce at the Polynesian Bowl on Jan 19. Hank changed his CB pick from Bama to Foggy.

Taulia will start school at Bama after playing in the All-American Bowl on Jan 5 and Polynesian Bowl on Jan 19.

Khris Bogle said he didn't sign secretly in Dec and hasn't reached a final decision. His finalists are the Canes, Tide, Gators and Vols. Hank said it appears Miami and Bama are in front and he's keeping his CB on Bama. Bogle is announcing at the All-American Bowl on Jan 5.
