If that's what you think I have no words for you.

2016: 145 atts, 1040 yds, 7.2 YPC 73 Long 2 Tds
2017: 135 atts, 1000 yds 7.4 YPC 75 Long 11 tds
2018: 126 atts, 771 yds, 6.1 YPC 73 Long 7 tds

Look's real below average to me

His dad posted that 7 minutes ago it said. It would be pretty crazy for him to post that and then him flip a couple hours later. But that may just be me.

Hmmmm. Richard and Turnagge are exactly the same size. Wonder if we'll use them interchangeably?

You see, you take the pen and you sign the hat then you give the hat to the little kids with some jello pudding pops.

He's the best back in a weaker RB class.

He'd be at best 3rd next year...

I remember when we all made this exact joke about Alex Collins.

Wait.

You don't think Harris is/was a below average starting running back for Saban at Alabama?

Not at all, dude has elite vision/cutting ability. He has always shared carries, but after a bad freshman year he has been a good to great running back.

I don’t I think Harris is a great back that doesn’t get featured because he splits carries with three other really good backs. I think he is a more complete back than Derek Henry and Eddie Lacy. Very Mark Ingram like but I don’t recall a game where he got shut down like Ingram did against Auburn in the 2009 game.

Statistically it's clear he was an elite producer and while I wouldn't say he is a historically great back or anything, he has been one of the best 5-10 running backs in college football each of the past 3 years.

Agreed, but I love a back with great vision and Sanders absolutely has that.

I think Sanders is a slightly faster, but also slightly smaller, version of Najee. He doesn't have great top end speed, but he makes up for it with vision and he has a lot of wiggle for a big guy.

Henry
Ingram
Lacy

Yeldon
Bo(idk if Bo counts)

Ok so do you know what Saban RBs have started at Alabama?

Because it sounds like you don't.

Harris slots in between Ingram and Lacy in terms of production/well roundedness/ability to pass protect.

He could be at the bottom of that list and still be a great running back, every one of the one's you listed except for poor Bo were top 5-10 runningbacks in CFB. Damien is the same.

Give Harris the carries and line that Lacy had in 2012 and he wins a goddamn Heisman, harris has just always shared carries here and been behind lines that don't run block the same way that some of the greats you list did.

I love Damien, he’s a very solid back for us, but he’s not a game changer. He can’t just take over a game like Ingram, Henry and even Lacy and Trent could. That doesn’t take anything away from him for us to admit that. I’m hopeful Trey can be at least as good as Damien. He’s gotta figure it how to sign and fax a piece of paper before he can worry about a Heisman though.
