I've only seen Lucky this hard up for a recruit once before.
It was Alvin Kamara.

High school football: Hard choice led prized recruit Dax Hill to change to Alabama
quote:
Dax Hill had plenty of choices about where to continue his football career.
The tough part for the celebrated Booker T. Washington defensive back was making up his mind.
On Sept. 18, he committed to the University Michigan. Last weekend, he announced he was decommiting from the Wolverines and going with No. 1 Alabama.
Verbal commitments are nonbinding. Hill said in a visit to the Tulsa World newsroom Thursday he hadn’t made up his mind whether he would sign a National Letter of Intent during the early-signing period, next Wednesday through Friday.
Michigan and Alabama “are both great schools,” he said. “So at the end of the day, it was kind of a hard decision for me and my family.”
In the past few weeks, Hill apparently started reconsidering his decision. Then, on Dec. 1, Alabama rallied past Georgia 35-28 in a rousing Southeastern Conference championship game before a raucous crowd of 77,141 in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
“(Alabama’s) just been one of the leaders in my whole recruiting process, so I wouldn’t say it was over a game that switched my mind — they were just always recruiting me hard,” he said.
Before tweeting his change of heart at 6 p.m. Saturday, he contacted Michigan assistants Sherrone Moore, who coaches tight ends, and Chris Patridge, special-teams coordinator and safeties coach.
In his twitter post, he thanked the Wolverines coaches who “took their time to come see me play or reached out to make sure everything was well with my family and I.”
Alabama was on Hill’s list of six finalists before he committed to Michigan. His four other finalists were Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
The Crimson Tide’s roster includes another Tulsan, junior running back Josh Jacobs from McLain.
Hill, named last week as Oklahoma’s Gatorade football player of the year, is rated a five-star prospect by 247sports.com, the No. 1 safety and No. 7 player overall in the 2019 recruiting class.
In 2018, he had 93 tackles, including nine for losses, and two forced fumbles to help the Hornets reach the Class 6A Division II semifinals. Hill, also used at wide receiver, scored touchdowns on seven of his 13 receptions.
In 2017, he helped lead the Hornets to the 6AII state championship.

One of his fellow posters pointed out Hill isn't signing on Wednesday and that was the case when he was still committed to Michigan
That was his original plan but if I am Harbough I would be doing everything I can to get him to sign on Wednesday as we should to.

That makes me feel better that he spoke with UM before announcing the flip. That is what not some spur of the moment that their staff did not know and since we know our staff has been on him and never stopped recruiting him.

Trey Sanders
Georgia has recently inserted itself near the top of Sanders’ recruitment and looks like a major player. What once seemed like a Florida-Alabama battle, now seems more like a fight between the Tide and Bulldogs. Sanders is the clear No. 1 back in this class and was once committed to the Tide, but Georgia is a real threat. In fact, some think UGA now leads his recruitment. Florida, as things stand, seems like a longshot. The five-star running back’s decision will likely come down to the wire. He’s expected to announce on Dec. 19.
Prediction: Georgia

Evan Neal
UGA has also made a move with Neal in recent weeks, but the Tide remain the favorite. Like Sanders, Neal will announce his choice on Signing Day during a televised event. Neal has made incredible strides this year, dropping bad weight and adding agility.
The five-star lineman was once an Alabama commit and has shown interest in any number of schools since backing off of that pledge, but Miami and Florida State have looked like the most serious threats to steal him away from Nick Saban. Barring a last-minute UGA coup, Neal seems likely to pick Bama.
Prediction: Alabama
Seeing as Georgia was mentioned first by the author of this article I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was a Georgia mod.

Khris Bogle
Bogle has become a must-get of sorts for a Miami program that hasn’t assembled the class it hoped this cycle. Schools such as Alabama, Tennessee and Florida remain involved and, at this point, it wouldn’t be a total shocker if the four-star lineman spurned the Hurricanes in favor of one of the three. Still, Miami has been on Bogle for years now and his relationship with the UM staff is incredibly solid. Nothing would be totally shocking here, but Miami seems like the smart money.
Prediction: Miami

Maybe I'm crazy or dumb, but I feel the most confident about Sanders. All the stuff he's tweeting and posting really seem to be an attempt to garner some attention for signing day, but he's known where he's going for a while now, and that's Alabama.
I hope I'm right.
