Sorry guys, but the truth hurts sometimes.
The reason this class isn't up to par with others, isn't because of the rankings. It is because needs were not met.
If Brown sticks, it is a solid DL haul and needs were meet. If he flips, then needs at DT were not met.
DB is another area where needs were not met. Bama needed numbers here, 5-6. Will get 4, but other then Smith, I don't see where Bama gets the immediate help they need. Campbell was a must in this class, but he is headed to Georgia.

I'm still celebrating the natty too.
This class won't have much bearing on next year's season, other then Smith taking one of the CB spot and Skyler taken the punter job.
I expect another playoff berth next year. Bama will start to feel the effects of this year's class in 19 and 20.

i realize i'm nobody, but for me this is pretty simple. bama has had what 6 or 7 straight number 1 classes? i do believe we can survive a top 5 only class.
