I don't understand how kids qualify for some schools and not others when they have similar academic standards

I'm hoping Bama's apparently cooling on ITS and Griffin is a sign that Bama really feels good about getting Surtain.

NCAA clearance standards have to be met for any school to be able to admit a student athlete. Their HS must submit their transcripts directly to the NCAA.
After NCAA clearance, admittance is each college's decision. Idk whether NCAA rules against athletes getting benefits that aren't available to all students applies to the necessity to meet the school's minimum admission requirements. And I'm too lazy to research it.

To be upfront you heard this on the LSU recruiting board.

True, I did. Guess I'm not the only one looking at their board.

Probably play around the first couple years of high school then get behind. Remember my highschool counselor telling me that your first two years of highschool don't matter smh.

Oh yeah, I get that they blow it off until it's too late to recover. But I figure their HS coach and parents would be in their ear a lot that they're pissing away a potential free college degree at schools with the best FB programs -- their best pathway to make $MMs in the NFL. Smdh.

Did you know that a small child could swim through the veins of a blue whale.

If we miss on PS2, Campbell, Brown , walker, Jackson, etc, do we even have enough back up plans to sign 8 for a full class? Not being negative just haven’t heard many back up plans besides Moody

Reminds me of a scene from Barney Miller, one of the great TV sitcoms.
Detective Chano has shot and killed a suspect, and is having a difficult time with it. Barney, as his boss, is talking with him about it.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Barney says:
Did you ever wonder why the blue whale, which is the largest mammal on the face of the earth, has a throat about that size? [forms a circle with his thumb and fingers] It could choke to death on an orange.
Chano: (sarcastically) Yeah. You know, I always did wonder. Why is that?
Barney: Because that's the way it is. And there ain't anything you can do about it.

Been out of the loop for awhile, our recruiting seems fluid at the moment.
