Announcing at the grave of a former teammate who passed away and inviting everyone seems like an indication he will commit to LSU to me. Could be wrong, obviously, but that's how i'd read that. Good luck to him. Pretty cool to honor former teammate that way.

Bone is now saying that the staff's goal to finish the class is 2 WR's and 2 Defensive Lineman. He specifically said this means Ruggs, Smith, Ray, and 1 of Mathis/Soloman, but the staff would obviously make room for Mathis and Soloman if both committed to UA.
Apparently Jarez Parks is still in play, but probably only if we miss on both Soloman and Mathis (thought this was interesting).
Also, we are not planning on taking another DB in this class unless we miss on an already committed DB (not likely). This is also interesting regarding Todd Harris as well as the fact we were pursuing two CB's late in the process.
Edit: If we miss on one of Ruggs or Smith then the staff may take Todd Harris.

Wow, so confidence level is down for everyone and apparently no one wants Parks. I was hoping Bama would have room for him, he has a lot of upside. However, it seems red flags are being raised against for everyone to stop recruiting him.

nice! I'd love to land Smith too, but not so much b/c i think we "need" him, but b/c i want to keep the melt going (it's similar to a few years ago when we'd get AU's most sought after recruit late in the process)
