The LSU SEC Country writer just CB'd Phidarian Mathis to Alabama.

Lol. TBF thou, Florida has it worse. Just lost one of their top DB recruits.

Stanford recruiting class is top heavy but they're going to be good. Sarell, Little, Mills, Parkinson. Number 2 and 3 tackles. Number 1 pocket passer QB (Tua top DT). Number 1 TE.
They also had Caden Smith. The top TE we were after in last year's class.
They got lots of four stars scattered through their last 4 classes. I expect them to be like they were a few years back with Luck and others in 2018.

Kind of fun to watch the melt. I was on the SEC recruiting page for the 5 for 5 fiasco, but I'm sure it was better on this board
I hope Wilson goes north still, it would be great for OSU and a nice LOL moment at the LSU recruiting board too. FSU would be ok, but obviously not as good

quote:I think they may have actually. Assuming LF7 played, They would have still been able to move the ball and pick up 1st downs, shorting the game with both RBs. I think they would have been smart enough to grind the clock.
Some morons in the Willie Gay thread actually think lsu would have fared better than we did against Clemson. Is there something in the water down there?

Clemson would have stopped Fournette by stacking the box. We've all seen Fournette stopped without a stacked box. Would have been LF1.6 all over again. Etling is not a better passer than Hurts.
The question is whether their defense would have held up better. I think Clemson would have passed for less but ran for more against them.

They stacked the box against us and Bo was still successful

Define successful. He had some long runs, but most of his carries were around 2-3 ypc. I dont think Fournette would have been able to bust through with the yac in that game the way Bo did.

A 5* Guard this early is blowing my mind...

quote:don't forget that they have Guice as well. Having both would have worked in LSU's favor. Etling would have been able to make the intermediate throws that Hurts couldn't

It looks like Mac Jones will be enrolling early after all.

Etling would have gotten destroyed by their dline and crumbled.

Bulovas is taking a blue shirt and will not cost us a spot in this class.

That is awesome and what I was hoping for

Maybe a more accurate statement would be their WR's would have caught the intermediate passes ? If our WR's catch the balls that hit them in the hands Bama wins the game.
Clemsons WR's caught everything in their area code. It was the difference in the game.
Hurts > Etling
