There are Alabama and auburn commits that follow each other on instagram and social media. Marlon Davidson and Mack Wilson are best friends. Football players and fans have different feelings about friendships. I wouldn't put much stock into it. He probably met them and got along with them. So hence he followed them to be friends.

That's unkind, rammerjammer24. We don't say unkind or impolite things on this board.
I believe that I speak for everybody on this board when I say that you should set a proper example and extend a virtual olive branch by apologizing about your uncouth comments toward Coach Harbaugh. They were outrageous, outlandish, preposterous, libelous.

Ruggs mom says Alabama and FSU are sticking out. She says that they are Alabama fans, but they are leaving the decision up to Ruggs. Ruggs will make a decision after he takes all of his OVs. He is set for OVs to Alabama, UF, FSU, and will try to fit one in to Auburn.
All of this per BOL.

I wish we knew for sure what Najee was going to do. If we knew he was Michigan bound, we maybe could get into the Toneil Carter recruitment at the last minute.

He's yours, as long as Lupoi remains at Bama.

If Harris were to flip, Akers would immediately get a phone call........followed by Anthony McFarland

A week ago, 5-star Alabama wide receiver commit Jerry Jeudy said he was shutting down his recruitment. On Monday, he took it one step further.
Jeudy, the nation’s No. 4 wide receiver from Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High School, signed his financial aid agreement during a school ceremony. Those documents are non-binding. They protect the recruit by ensuring the school holds a scholarship for him, but the prospect is still free to choose any school. The benefit for the program is that it allows for unlimited contact between the football staff and the recruit, even once the dead period began this past Monday. Recruits can sign as many financial aid agreements as they want.
The Under Armour All-American committed to Alabama over Florida and Miami in late July. Even after his commitment, Jeudy was open about potentially taking visits elsewhere. He did that — secretly, although his plan failed — when he took an official visit to Miami on Dec. 9.
After the visit, Jeudy came out and reaffirmed his commitment to Alabama.
One of the biggest reasons why he committed to Alabama in the first place was to play alongside his good friend Calvin Ridley. Before transferring to Deerfield Beach, Jeudy and Ridley were teammates at Monarch High School in South Florida.
“I’ll have one more year with Calvin, and he’ll teach me the ropes,” Jeudy said at the time of his commitment. “He’ll show me how he got stuff done. He’ll show me the way.”
Jeudy will join Ridley in Tuscaloosa this January.

Mac Jones speaks with Sarkisian
Another one of Alabama’s most important commitments has already spoken with Sarkisian — 4-star quarterback Mac Jones. Sarkisian and Jones spoke over the phone on Saturday, just one day after being named the next Tide offensive coordinator.
There have been several rumors on the Internet regarding the status of Jones’ commitment to Alabama. He recently picked up an Oklahoma State offer, plus Missouri and Kentucky have still been recruiting Jones consistently over the past several months. There’s also the notion that some people feel like Jones is the “second quarterback” in the Class of 2017 because of the commitment of Tagovailoa. He doesn’t listen to the noise, though.
“I still feel really comfortable with Alabama,” Jones told SEC Country. “I don’t know why people think I’ve been changing. Schools are coming after me and I’m not going to tell them don’t do that. I’m going to listen to people because I think it’s the right thing, but I feel comfortable with Alabama.”
Jones said he felt even more comfortable with attending Alabama after his conversation with Sarkisian. The two didn’t talk much football and how he views the recruit in his offense moving forward. The conversation focused on just getting to know each other.
The nation’s No. 14 pro-style quarterback said Sarkisian checked off two boxes that are very important to him in the recruiting process.
“It seems like he’s very honest and is passionate about the game,” Jones said of Sarkisian. “He sounded so grateful for his second chance. That showed me that he could be a father-like figure to me when I get there. He’ll be able to help me when things get tough.
“Just talking to him, he seems like a laid back and chill type of coach. That’s good to have because it’s already stressful enough being a quarterback. It seems like he’ll be a person where I can just talk to, be with and help with any problems I may have.”
One of those problems Jones is currently going through is fighting Bolles High School (Jacksonville, Fla.) on allowing him to graduate early so he can get to Alabama in January. It’s been known for several months now that Jones was likely not going to be an early enrollee because Bolles doesn’t allow its students to graduate in December. That hasn’t stopped him from trying.
If he can’t find a way to leave high school in the coming weeks, Jones will just enroll at Alabama in May. But even with the extra time in his recruitment, there shouldn’t be any cause for concern whether he’ll stick with the Tide until signing day.
Missouri and Kentucky are the schools in contact with Jones the most. Both SEC schools have presented their cases to him, but he said neither have negatively recruited Alabama.
“They are just presenting their cases and showing me who’s on their roster and how it’s a good scenario for me,” Jones said. “They never bash Alabama or anything. They just tell me that I’m a good player and they’ll see how I compete if I choose their school.”
Jones will take his official visit to Alabama next month, but the date hasn’t been locked in yet. He’s already visited Kentucky before — as he was originally committed to the school — and he doesn’t plan on going back next month. As far as a possible visit to Missouri? That doesn’t seem likely either.
“I’ve had the offer for a while and if I wanted to visit, I probably would have done it by now,” Jones said. “I don’t feel like I’ll visit anywhere else.”

You've said that repeatedly and I hope you're right. We know Tosh has a unique and long-term relationship with Harris and his family. That will certainly help, but the flirtation with Michigan has been long and real. That threat of going there is real, but we don't know how real. Could be a small chance.

Harbaugh personally going out to visit him at one of his games and Saban not doing that hurt us for a little while. I think that has a lot to do with a lot of the Michigan flirtation.

Harbaugh and Michigan were also lucky that Antioch's homecoming fell on the same weekend as Michigan's bye week. He took full advantage of it.

I just believe that if he was going to flip, he would've done it by now. Simply out of respect for his relationship with the Bama coaches.

I really like his pocket awareness.
Dynamically he may not compare to Tua, but he's mobile enough with the rollouts, reads, and rare QB draw.
Those spinning back foot miracle throws ain't gonna fly in college

Dont worry about Najee. He is solid. If he were considering going elsewhere Bama would be all over Akers, and in a recent interview Akers said he was no longer in contact with the Bama staff.
Every season is the same where these premium sites try to create as many clicks as possible toward signing day. Najee visiting Michigan was all it took for all the "insiders" to create a frenzy of doubt.

I have no clue what his final decision will be, but to your point, the fact that he stays so quiet and private only would help this strategy by the recruiting sites out with making their 'sales' bait.
