When they act like this, other recruits see/hear about it and it's awesome tbh cause it does the opposite of encouraging LA kids to stay home or oos recruits to go there.

Moses has the best tape I've ever seen for a LB.

Our crazies are few, but downright insane. They have a mostly harmless, but widespread retardation.

If Luke Keuchley didn't bring Boston College's D to the next level, I have no notion that one Lb will do that for Bama or LSU.
Tyrann was a once in a generation talent in college football that made every player on defense better.
Moses will be a great cog for BAMA D machine but the chances of him being other worldly (not saying he will not be a standout) are slim to none.
There will be others to fill the void for LSU. Hold your head high Tiger fans. Better days are coming.
Can someone remind me how many national championships Tyrann Mathieu won while he was at L5U?
Seeing as he made everyone on their defense better they certainly won at least one, right? Two perhaps?

Four-star linebacker Christopher Allen (Baton Rouge, La./ Southern Lab) is a man of few words. He did, however, make it clear that Alabama adding five-star linebacker Dylan Moses to its class on Sunday may in fact helps the Tide's chances for his signature.
Allen was on campus this weekend as well.

They now have a melt thread on the OT board about the melt thread on the recruiting board, impressive!

The only thing i remember about Tyrann was he got so frustrated during the first match he cheap shotted Kirkpatrick from behind like a complete coward. He did have a nice punt return that game as well.
Match 2, Alabama designed our entire offense around taking advantage of his short comings at CB and dominated the game beating L1U 21-0. The first of 5, soon to be 6, in a reaux.

On here. I tend to expect more psychos from LSU, being that it all started as an LSU board. There's plenty of deranged losers on BOL , and any team specific site.
But yeah, this is pretty pathetic, even considering the above.

Gulping down gallons of Tiger tears over Moses is delicious and all, but Allen has the best film I've seen from any LB inside or out this cycle. Five, six years ago Allen would be the perfect ILB, but now he may end up being too big. Either way would love to have him.
If Bama Adds Allen dear god. Especially when you add Davis and Mack from last years class. Mercy.
Its harder to project players these days with how the LB position has changed the last few years at Bama.
I think Parks will definitely grow into a DE, but he looks phenomenal.
Johnson seems to be exactly what the staff wants at ILB these days. I wouldn't mind seeing Ronnie Harrison play in the middle some vs the Ole Miss of the world, but thats another discussion.
Anyhow the Moses get is big no matter if he is overrated or not. Moses is to LSU what Julio was to Bama. He'll be worth his weight in gold relative to recruiting, and the overall decline of the LSU program. What I see when I watch Moses film is a guy that doesn't take the best angles to the ball, and is not as physical as some of the other elite LB's. (Allen)
I'm not sure who I would compare Moses to, but he is built similarly to Ryan Anderson out of H.S. so... I think CTL will be happy to have him.
The staff made him a priority, and the industry considers him a top 5 player so I would tend to believe he will be a contributor sooner than later.
Bama problems. Trying to decide exactly how excited we are about getting the no.4 player in the country.
Shaping up to be another epic class. All Bama needs now is to finish strong on the DL. Surely Solomon sees this mess brewing in Athens.

They Still seem to be melting. How long will this last?

FWIW, Hank South of BOL thinks Chris Allen can play a role similar to Tim Williams in our defense. He plays inside for his high school team, but has the length and size to play Jack.
Hank said two weeks ago that Allen fits our defense better than Parks, but he felt we were more likely to land Parks out of the two.
Parks is already up to 260 pounds so he'll probably have a career path similar to Jon Allen if he is to sign with us.
I say take Allen and Parks and finish this class with six LBers.
ETA: Good post by the way.

Did you not see the guy say Moses was making a 40 year commitment instead of a 4 year one?
This melt will never end.

It's crazy that Rolo and CJ weren't two of the Top 10 LBs we've signed in the Saban era.
Just goes to show you how unreliable recruiting rankings are even though we've hit more than we've missed at the LB positions.

Ryan Johnson visited for the game this weekend and says it help our chances of landing him. The question is do we have room for him?
quote:
Johnson says he could get a sense of the staff hoping he would commit on the visit, but he plans to announce after the Iron Bowl or sometime after the season.
Alabama wasn't the quickest to offer Johnson, evaluating the four-star DE longer than others before offering early in 2016.
"It makes me feel great since it's such a highly-touted school with a great regiment academically and athletically," Johnson said of getting the attention from Alabama. "They took a big step forward overall for me.
"I'm not really sure if I'd call them my leader but they are near the top of my list right now."
