I've heard the same on Sterling and Townsend, but more than 50/50 that Townsend wouldn't be in this class. I like him, so I hope there's room. Maybe the safety thing plays out to his advantage. Who knows?

If this Alabama team does what I think they're capable of, my winter is going to be just that much better.

Iron Bowl win in November, SEC Champs Dec. 3, I graduate December 10, Playoff win Jan. 1, I get married Jan. 6 and honeymoon until the championship. Plus all the holidays

Congrats man. It's nice that you can go into a season with big question marks but still feel like your team should be in it at the end. I feel the same

I don't know how I'd feel about football season if I was a fan of a team who had never won big. It would be hard

Jamar King is expected to qualify and should be on campus next Tuesday or Wednesday

Wow. How did I miss his story. Went to work at an assembly line after high school to help his family, played for a couple semi-pro football teams; went back to JC to better himself where several college coaches saw his play; Nick Saban showed up and and offered him; and the rest is history.

He committed to Alabama and will play at the age of 27.

2. Both guards from last year but one is moving to center. mat also see a rarity at OSU a JUCO playing. If not will be two top tackles from the 2014, and 2015 classes and if spring practice is an indication, a true frosh EE at the vacant guard spot

Wow. Semi-pro? Would have thought that disqualified eligibility.

Used to play semi pro. It is rarely for pay and is more accurately described as an "organized amateur" league

You really think they are a playoff caliber team?

Well they do play in the weakest conference imaginable. Their only competition in that league (sparty) Bama usually beats somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 - 0.

I think Georgia would woop arse in the big. Uhh, actually I think Georgia, Florida, Tenn, and LSU all would have a field day up there. Hell Arky, Miss, or the barn may even be a playoff team up there.

I go back and forth. I think they figured it out after MSU last year about having the OC up in the press box. They got too cute often and insisted on getting X many guys X many touches and forcing it

I firmly believe JT Barrett can be in NYC for the Heisman come December. His read on the zone plays is really fun to watch.

My biggest concern is DT, where OSU had some minor problems recruiting elite ones in 2014 and 2015

I'm leaning 10-2 right now which I guess has them as s contender but I'm not sure in

I'm 15-0 and not homering. Blake Barnett is the new McCarron/Coker.

Alabama extended an offer to a familiar name for Tide fans -- 2019 quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa (Kapolei, Hawaii), according to his brother UA commit Tua Tagovailoa's Twitter.

The offer from Alabama is his second listed to go along with Hawaii.

At 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, the younger Tagovailoa has not yet received a rating in the 2019 class.

Yep. He doesn't go to the same school as Tua so he can actually play. He's a righty.

ETA: Meaning he wouldn't see the field at St. Louis High School while Tua is there. I'm not saying anything about his talent.
