3. 4-star RB B. J. Emmons
Height/Weight: 5’10”, 232 lbs
High School: Freedom High, Morganton, North Carolina
247Sports Ranking: No. 2 RB, No. 35 overall
Bleacher Report Score: 90/100
Committed to Alabama on July 20, 2015
After decommitting from an early pledge to Georgia in June, 4-star rusher B.J. Emmons cast his lot with fellow SEC power Alabama a month later.
The Under Armour All-American enjoyed a monster 2015 season, rushing for 2,417 yards and 36 touchdowns. Emmons fits the mold of power backs Tide head coach Nick Saban has managed to sign since his arrival in Tuscaloosa.
Bleacher Report Analysis
From a physical standpoint, there aren’t many backs as impressive as Emmons. At 232 pounds, he has the speed to run away from defensive backs.
He’s a load to bring down in the open field when he gets a head of steam, and he’s adept at getting bunches of yards after contact.
There may be an adjustment for Emmons in developing as a receiver at the next level, but he has a package of skills that are an intriguing fit with the Tide’s power ground attack.

Magilla in 2014 we also signed Dom Jackson from JUCO.
Kendall Jones moved up 247 rankings and completely moved out of Rivals 250 rankings. Go,figure.

Thanks guys for getting back on topic. Not much of a fan of the bitch sessions on here that break out from time to time.
All the info is much appreciated and IDGAF where it comes from or who gets credit for it.

Duron Carter the savior at WR who also never made it out of camp says hello.

Menzie was a solid contributor for two years. I believe he is referring to Travell Dixon. I think that was his first name. He came in for the spring, had some troubles during the A Day game and subsequently quit soon after.

Menzie didn't quit. He played 2 years at Bama. He tore his achilles tendon in like April before his JR year and still played by September. He was a very good player for us.
The JUCO DB who quit before the season started was Travell Dixon.

Travel Dixon maybe? Or did he ever make it to camp?

thats the guy I'm thinking of. he did make it to camp but quit after like 2 weeks or something. was suppose to be a stud and really hurt the depth we had after that.

My sources tell me it was Travell Dixon but I should know more in the coming months

After Bama winning the NC I bet he is really upset that things didn't work out for him. It was a stretch to allow him to sign anyway.

I've been out of the loop as far as recruiting is concerned. We have 16 players committed with a few of them already signed and enrolled at the university. Do we expect to have a strong finish to this recruiting class?

Dixon fell behind a true freshman Geno Smith, so that told me all I needed to know then.
