To read Twitter and the internet, you'd think Bama was taking 5 more receivers in the '16 class. Hint: It's more like 2.
That's a bit tricky because a few of the receiver types could be viewed as athletes. Some folks have said Trevon Diggs is a silent commit, but he has some issues with grades but even still, he could also project as a DB.

Bet it's not. Bet it's more like 4, but not 5.

I don't see us having the room for it, and it seems like we're looking for a smaller range of WR's this year as well, specifically speedy slot guys.

Will Muschamp said he's pleased with the linebacker group so far and singled out freshman Darrell Williams as doing some good things.
I hope this isn't one that we regret.

I see. I guess one of his posts I responded to was deleted. Which is weird because it wasn't bad at all.

How many will Alabama take in this class? I was playing around with the class calculator and had trouble trimming it down below 30.

Ive read 28,29 so yea i think you are in the ball park. Seems like several walks on got schollys this year so we must be pretty good number wise.

The hitch was number of receivers and offensive tackles that Alabama will take in this cycle. Every other position is basically sized up already.

”Jordan Fuller is versatile and can play several positions, and on both sides of the ball,” Dohn said. “He projects best as a defensive back because of his length, acceleration, instincts and ability to change direction.
”He drives on the ball well, and when a play is in front of him, he comes up from his safety position and bursts into the ball carrier to make a strong hit. As he gets bigger and more mature, he could be special in the secondary.”
In regards to his recruitment, the New Jersey cornerback is still considering several schools.

Recruiting poses unique challenges once high school season begins
For committed players, the juggling act should be less complicated but often it’s not. Rival schools rarely stop recruiting a player once he has made a public commitment. Instead, coaches understand the power of flipping a commitment, which hurts a rival and helps the program. As regular-season high school games begin Aug. 20, players must juggle talking to college coaches and trying to win games each Friday night.
“I try not to let it distract me at all,” said Clay-Chalkville reciver T.J. Simmons, an Alabama commit. “At practice with my team, I try to focus on my team and not think about the recruiting process and stuff like that. Then, at home, I talked to my parents. I’m already committed, so I’m trying to stop the process so I don’t have to worry with it at all.”
High school coaches, of course, also have recruiting responsibilities once the season begins. They field calls and send highlight videos and try to help players secure scholarships.
