If a kid signs a scholarship but ends up as a sign and place, does he count against this class? Not certain. Just asking. I know that's not the case with Bell.

Per Gator247:

-Adonis was going to OV to UF last weekend but UA staff snuffed that out.
-UF will give him an LOI in hopes of a last minute decision.
-Thomas plans to send LOI in early tomorrow morning.

will be glad when this recruiting cycle is done. even though we have know those guys were going to decommit for months (and prince was only commited for like a day), its kind of been a bummer, and not actually landing any of out LT prospects is surprising. i dont see us landing in more big fish in this class, so i just hope everybody we have on board now send in their loi and we move on to snagging cam robs replacement in 2016 (sucks we couldnt get an LT this year, because cam rob is gone in 2 years, replacement could have redshirted, then played backup for a year, then stepped right in)

We could always pull a Texas A&M and have our RT transition to LT after the LT gets drafted.

I won't be satisfied just hanging onto who we have tomorrow, we need to add at least a WR out of Charlot and Hill, and one more either OL or Cece. If we can hang onto what we have and add Charlot, plus one more stud...I'll be pumped about this class and feel like we closed well.

Yes because of the new SEC rules past a few years back. Now they count against and why teams are hesitant to take the risk.

I have been completely unproductive today. I've been reading the same page in my textbook for the past ten minutes while searching for more info on our commits. NSD needs to hurry up and get here so I can be productive again.

Five-star defensive end CeCe Jefferson was considered an Ole Miss lean not so long ago, and for good reason. Still, nothing in football recruiting is ever really final until pen meets paper, and sometimes even that isn't enough. Alabama certainly has a shot to steal Jefferson at the final moment. Florida has also emerged as a serious threat to land Jefferson on Signing Day. The Gators have made up a ton of ground in the late stages and will likely play a massive role in one of the day's most interesting announcements.

Despite being committed to Ole Miss since September, five-star Memphis (Tenn.) University School offensive tackle Drew Richmond has been one of the most discussed prospects in the Southeast over the past few weeks. Alabama made a hard push for Richmond and appeared to talk him into squeezing in an official visit, but he changed those plans quickly and took his final official visit to Tennessee instead.

All accounts out of Knoxville are that Richmond had a great time, with several Vols commitments feeling like they sealed the deal with him during the trip. And on Monday night, Richmond decommitted from Ole Miss, leading many to believe that Tennessee does have the momentum. In the distant background, Alabama is still holding out hope that it can land Richmond despite the fact that he never took an official visit to Tuscaloosa. Richmond says he won't hold an announcement ceremony, so everyone will have to wait until the fax comes through to find out his final destination.

Elite athletes continue to shift toward wide receiver more than ever, making it one of the deepest positions in this class. Top-tier pass-catchers who can slice apart defensive schemes often serve as catalysts for high-octane college offenses and open things up for teammates.

We continue our review of the top 200 overall recruits in 247Sports' composite rankings by taking a closer look at these talented downfield targets. We scored each player on a 100-point scale that measures route running, hands, blocking, release, speed and agility.

16. 4-star KJ Hill

Height/Weight: 6'0"/188 lbs

High School: North Little Rock High School, North Little Rock, Arkansas

247Sports Ranking: No. 16 wide receiver; No. 152 overall

Bleacher Report Score: 85/100

Uncommitted: Considering Alabama, Ohio State and Arkansas.

The Razorbacks thought they managed to keep a premier in-state target on home turf this summer, as K.J. Hill chose Arkansas over SEC rivals Auburn, Alabama and Florida. The Crimson Tide still remain in the picture after his recent decommitment, though Ohio State has emerged as a legitimate contender after hosting him.

Bleacher Report Analysis

Hill is a versatile weapon who presents offensive coordinators with options across the attack. He's an above-average route-runner (17/20) who possesses the agility (14/15) and short-area burst to gain separation against any defensive scheme.

His athleticism could also have a chance to shine on special teams and in limited carries out of the backfield. Hill would provide a big boost along the Razorbacks' receiving depth chart and should vie for early touches.

9. 4-star Daylon Charlot

Height/Weight: 6'0"/193 lbs

High School: Patterson High School, Patterson, Louisiana

247Sports Ranking: No. 9 wide receiver; No. 90 overall

Bleacher Report Score: 81/100

Uncommitted: Considering LSU, Miami and Alabama

Daylon Charlot initially committed to the Crimson Tide during a junior-day campus visit in February. He remained firm for a while but reopened his recruitment as a senior. Miami and LSU lined up visits and remain in the mix.

Bleacher Report Analysis

Charlot isn't necessarily an explosive playmaker, because he won't dazzle you with elite speed (12/15), but his toughness in traffic and reliable hands (23/25) make him a potential mainstay in any collegiate receiving rotation.

He fights to get open and isn't afraid to tussle with defenders in order to set an early tone in the matchup. Charlot needs to apply coaching lessons to his route running (15/20), as he tends to round off routes rather than finish with sharp cuts that can create separation.

Charlot has excellent vision in the open field once he receives the ball, a trait that could apply to the kick return game. He took a punt back for a score in the Under Armour All-America Game.

1. 5-star Calvin Ridley

Height/Weight: 6'0"/170 lbs

High School: Monarch High School, Pompano Beach, Florida

247Sports Ranking: No. 1 wide receiver; No. 11 overall

Bleacher Report Score: 95/100

Committed to Alabama on April 19, 2014

Calvin Ridley committed to the Crimson Tide along with high school teammate Shawn Burgess-Becker while both players attended Alabama's spring game action. Miami and Florida State have never called off the hunt, but he appears on track to compete in Tuscaloosa.

Bleacher Report Analysis

Ridley, already 20 years old, has an advantage in physical maturation, an edge that showed up en route to earning overall MVP honors at The Opening. Even the most elite defensive backs struggled to stay with him in coverage—a credit to his route running (19/20) and release (20/20).

His quickness (14/15) is coupled with sheer physicality, including a vicious stiff-arm Ridley unveils from time to time. The game film is filled with highlight plays, and he is clearly ready for a new challenge.

It awaits him at Alabama, where offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin is looking to fill the mighty big shoes left behind by NFL-bound receiver Amari Cooper. Ridley, who was limited to just three games as a senior due to Florida's high school age limit (19 years and nine months), still managed to catch 18 passes for 420 yards and six touchdowns in 2014, per Steve Gorten of the Sun Sentinel.

Alabama will count on him immediately to help pick up some of the slack.

"Calvin is pretty incredible, isn't he?" 5-star Alabama quarterback and early enrollee Blake Barnett told me last summer. "He's such a talented receiver. ... I can't wait to get to work with him in Tuscaloosa."

That was the plan they pitched too Richmond.

Unfortunately, he cared more about his commitment to Ole Miss by not visiting Bama, but not enough to apparently hold his commitment after his Tennessee visit...

It would be considered something of an shocker if Richmond, the nation's No. 3-ranked offensive tackle, didn't end up signing with Tennessee. Per Johnson, Richmond is expected to sign his letter of intent with the Volunteers at his high school, Memphis University School, on Wednesday morning.

Richmond took his official visit to Tennessee over the weekend, took in a basketball game, met with head coach Butch Jones and the other coaches, reconnected with players and hung out with recruits.

Richmond's made the trip from Memphis to Knoxville several times on his own dime, so the experience wasn't new to him.

What he did leave with, however, was unexpected love from the Volunteers fans. At the Tennessee-Auburn basketball game, fans were on hand chanting his name.

Richmond, look for him to be a college signee by 10:15 a.m. ET on Wednesday—most likely wearing the color of UT Orange.
