Lawrence Cager said Rico was all Tide FWIW.

I remember a couple years ago, Rico was a sophomore and a poster on another site said he had talked to Rico at A-day and there was no chance he was coming to Bama. This surprised everyone since Rico was a frequent visitor to Tuscaloosa. When pressed to reveal how the poster had come to this conclusion, he said that Rico told him he had no intention of staying in-state. The poster didn't realize he's an out of state prospect

But it's so much fun to make uneducated guesses, and present them as facts.

Tide Player Personnel Director Moving On

Barring an unexpected change in events, Alabama Director of Player Personnel Tyler Siskey is expected to step down from his administrative role and accept an assistant coaching job under Joey Jones at the University of South Alabama.

Siskey is expected to coach wide receivers for Jones and formerly coached that unit at Arkansas State from 2008 to 2011.

Before joining the Alabama staff in March 2013, Siskey was the Coordinator of Recruiting Development at Ole Miss and part of a Rebels' recruiting effort that unanimously landed in top 10 team rankings for the 2013 cycle.

Cooper Bateman:

“Coming out of high school, I knew this was going to be a long road choosing a school like this in the SEC. I didn’t expect to start right away. It’s a long road and I know that, and I’m willing to stick it out.”

Pretty good, clear, short article on Thompson leaving for Auburn.

I'm really going to miss Fowler. Always unselfish and a great competitor. I hope he has a long successful career in the NFL.

An AU friend at work said Tim Irvin was Micheal Irvin's nephew? Anyone know if this is true?

Of course. An aunt always gives a gift of thousands of dollars in cash. Seems legit.

It's not that unusual, especially when a relative has made millions of dollars.

He did. Left in an ambulance. People compared it to Prothro. I feel awful for that kid.
