Per Lars Anderson today he is picking up info that Coker has been all over the place with his throws on 7x7

Wouldn't surprise me. Only big knock I had on him from his FSU film was footwork. He's gotta get more consistent. Eyes control your feet, feet control your hips, hips control your throw.

I saw some posts on other boards by supposed insiders that Coker had been inaccurate in the early 7on practices but then there were reports that he had settled in and started doing better. That was followed by sources saying he's "phenomenal", tearing it up, etc. GMAC said on ESPNU today he's heard whispers about how great he is.
So who the f knows? I know where I'll be focused on fan day this year.

I don't doubt those reports. I think it goes right back to inconsistent footwork. When he's on, he's gonna do what he wants. But when he gets sloppy, it'll get ugly. He just has to keep working on it.

Coker just needs to work on timing with WR and trusting his OL and RBs to their job. I think that will help him settle down. Also needs to realize he probably has more talent around him than any QB in the country. I am not going to say we have the best RB, WR, or TE, but no one can match the talent across the board. They still have to perform this fall but if they do it will make his job a lot easier.

I'm willing to say he does have the best WR and the most talented TE, but of course there is more to it than that.

I've always wondered, who is this guy? Did he just start his own site or what? I don't have any particular reason to doubt or trust his info more than anybody else who authors a Bama site, but I'm just curious.

TE’s- The staff is hoping that Vogler can improve as a blocker. Its basically him or bust in 2014 to try and get the ground game back to the 2012 level.
Brandon Greene, please.

OL- I can stress enough how lucky UA is to have Mario Christobal. People talk about Kirby or Kiffin being the UA HC one day…LOL neither can hold a candle to MC. One thing is for certain Josh Casher is expected to play in 2014 and is thought of as a Pit Bull who will hurt you if he gets the chance. Casher has been the star of the newcomers and that is saying alot, because the others are doing well for True Freshman.
As far as I'm concerned, the jury is still out on this one, in terms of his coaching ability. I think it's too early to knock him, but it sure would be nice to see an improvement on the O-Line. His recruiting abilities, obviously, are top-notch.

Look for some names to vanish from the 2015 commit list. Some possible candidates are Ledbetter, Burgess-Becker, Moton (above) and Warmack.
Was Moton the one who Saban was supposedly mad that whomever his recruiter is "accepted" his commitment?

I think this is a situation like with Dee Hart and HaHa where you don't rock the boat.
HOW DARE YOU KNOCK DEE HART IN MY PRESENCE?!
Also, sorry for the long post.

I had no idea until today that he is a track-star. With the trajectory that the track team is on, Tony Brown and Marlon Humphrey signing, and Tony Brown's early successes, this has to help us immensely, right?

He actually competes in the same events as Hump and TB too
Posted on 7/17/14 at 9:32 pm to sarc
TB and Hump followed by Fitzpatrick and Sheff would be quite the CB pull over a two year period.

Hey TS, don't forget to update the OP. Barnett got his 5th star.

We now have 2 CB's for Sheffield. Charles from BOL actually said he thought about putting his in for Sheffield to Bama but will hold off.

I know Saban's staff has done some amazing things on the recruiting trail but pulling four 5* corners in a two year period would be flat out ridiculous.

Plus Thompson at Safety, who will probably finish as a five star.
