I really love the concentration on in-state players in this class.

I will be happy with either Barnett or Waller. Either way, we need to get one of them. If we don't pull in a 4+ star QB this recruiting cycle I think it will be difficult to call the '15 class a complete success.

That's a surprise, especially at this point. Wonder if there is any mutual interest.

When Alabama offers there is always at least "interest" whether it is serious or not is the question

Making my decision this month at St. X. I'll know the exact date as early as tomorrow.

Top 5 are Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Iowa... I expect that it will be either Michigan or Ohio State

Yeah. I think the elite OLB that we have a great shot with is Ricky Deberry. He is from Virginia where we have had some recent success. He gave a very pro-Bama interview to BOL.

Just glanced at Scout to see how their rankings are this year and was instantly reminded why I never go to that piece of shite eyesore. Calvin Ridley is listed as the 7th best Corner while Minkah Fitzpatrick is the 8th. Leo Lewis is the 8th best MLB,Cotton is the #8 OG and Warmack,Ledbetter and Mekhi aren't even top 10 at their position.

Alabama has offered a Top 100 2016 QB on Tuesday in Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic signal caller, KJ Costello, per 247Sports National Recruiting Insider Ryan Bartow. The 6-foot-4, 213-pounder is on campus at Alabama as part of an extensive college tour that has seen him already visit Michigan and Notre Dame in the last two days.
Costello, who also holds offers from the likes of Florida State, Tennessee, Cal, Miami, Boise State, Oregon State, and Virginia, was scouted by Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin during the spring. There are currently three Crystal Ball picks in favor of Stanford for Costello, who ranks as the no. 105 overall prospect and no. 3 pro-style QB according to the 247Sports Composite.

Scout gives me the . The only thing i like about that site is that John Garcia Jr typically keeps his twitter pretty up to date. It's where I get a lot of the recruits' tweets.

North Carolina commit Ronnie Harrison has already visited Alabama, Georgia and Florida this summer, and this weekend he plans to be in Chapel Hill - the place he currently plans to call home after high school. The three-star safety from Tallahassee, Fla. tells Geaux247 that he also plans to visit Alabama and LSU in July. Harrison is ranked the No. 21 safety in the 247Sports Composite and is No. 45 overall in the Sunshine State.

And for the way too early 2017 All-Name Team, I humbly submit Giovannia Moore:

quote:

Giovonnia Moore picked up his first offer yesterday at N.C. State. This afternoon he added his second with a verbal tender from North Carolina. The Columbus (GA) Carver standout will head to Ohio State on Wednesday and camp there the following day. He'll do the same this weekend at Notre Dame. The 2017 linebacker, one of the tops at his position in his class nationally, is also getting interest from Alabama, Indiana and BYU.

Travis Waller moved up his Notre Dame and Northwestern visits. He is now expected to spend one day at each place early next week instead of at the end of June.

Could it be that he senses the urgency with a decision from Blake Barnett imminent?

Alabama commitment Dallas Warmack, a Top247 OL from Atlanta (GA) Mays, made an unofficial visit to Louisville Sunday. Ranked the No. 213 prospect by 247Sports, the 6-2, 306 pound Warmack is rated the No. 10 OG nationally. A four-star prospect, Warmack committed to the Crimson Tide last summer.
