This will probably affect Saban's coaching. It SHOULD affect Saban's coaching. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.

I hear ya. I had this same feeling after Protho’s injury. I was so pumped at kicking Florida’s arse and then that happened late in the game.

I haven’t been able to watch any other games today. Just sucked the desire right out. That poor kid.

It does suck. Don’t recall a time I’ve been this deflated after win. Good news that it wasn’t fractured though.

Wasn't really funny - she got knocked out cold for a solid 60-90 seconds and had to go to the hospital

Wasn't it the 3rd quarter?

To be fair, my post was before they announced she was really injured. Even Gary Danielson laughed when it happened.

Oh yea I know - wasn't directing that towards you. Just was giving cobra a heads up that it was a real thing and not a funny ball hits girl in head thing.

Tuas pre-existing injury was fine and it was the 2nd quarter of the game. You can't be upset he was in the situation.

Tyrone Prothro had his career ended in a situation where he had no business being on the field. Alabama was up 31-3 in the 4th quarter and Shula had his 1st string out taking shots to the endzone.

I'll never be more pissed off about an injury in my life.

I'm not upset about anything but how devastating the injury itself is to Tua. Not talking about any of the external factors surrounding it.

I'm just numb for him. Goodness what an awful injury for such a great player and even better person.

I feel that way too. But imagine how devastated Tua feels. Let's all pray for him, and all players who suffer serious injuries.

I didn't know that it was serious, but I'd still like to see it.

I've honestly been knocked out longer and have seen many teammates knocked out longer, so I'm not sure if you're trying to shame me or not. Sorry that I don't view being knocked out for a little bit as more of a tragedy. If it happens more than once, then I see it as a problem

Since we know it's not a break I think it's a blessing in disguise. I didn't want the kid to go to a dysfunctional franchise.

Just imagine if he falls to the 32nd pick. If he somehow stays healthy Belichick won't retire for a decade
