Then Jalen made great progress in the offseason and Grubb is who we thought he was.

By neither I meant he doesn’t start.

The only spot Rees could’ve gone was LSU, but he didn’t follow Kelly in the first place because he wanted autonomy and not Kelly overruling him on everything

I honestly think he would have did a good job at Ohio State but they hired small game Bob

think it had more to do with QB than center. You have to be able to make calls

You can make all the right calls but if your center can't snap you the ball properly, It wouldn't matter at all.

He'll probably be better because he'll have watched more film, practiced more. Generally players get better the more repetitions they get.

Not Milroe. He can't improve. He's not allowed to.

I could see him playing next year, then Simpson for a year, then Mack

The U of A is on the hook for 1.9 million to Tommy. I will assume his earnings with the Browns will be deducted from our tab.

Doesn’t it usually have to be a college job for it to offset?

I wouldn't think so. That would be stupid from the U of A side.

Did we fire Rees? Or did DeBoer offer him some trash position that Rees didn't want? Do we still owe him if he left of his own accord?

He has a two year deal. Bama didn't retain him.

And what if he looks the same? Are you going to eat crow?

Of course.. I can admit it if I'm wrong. However, Rees track record would indicate that he's not great.

Honestly, none of use know because we weren't at practice or in the huddle. However, looking at the plays the did call at times during the year make me believe that he really didn't have a grasp of play calling against better defenses.

Furthermore, I'd argue that the OC is accountable for what happens on the field fun the offense. If the center can't perform in pressure situations, how did the OC adjust or mitigate the sustain..

We also simply have some dumbass fans who think they know shite about everything but are really just fricking buffoons.

It means that we said "to hell with loyalty" and played the best young man.

a center who couldn’t snap and a QB still improving his ability to pass to all levels

Interesting wording. What if Seth was "still improving his ability to snap the ball" and Milroe couldn't read a defense?

I kid, I kid.

But, not really.
