He played a really good game.

He does a good job of diagnosing the play. He showed good speed with that pick. But he has also been a solid tackler.

Not sure what his ceiling is. What do yall think? He wasnt a highly ranked recruit, but Saban thought he could be a safety, so that's good enough for me.

Not everyone has to be Mark Barron. If we can just get a Rashad Johnson, I think all of us would take that in a second. Him being on the field definitely seemed to help us today

That's a good post Mr. Hubbard. Ha! I'm just joking. Honestly man I think he played great too! I don't know about his ceiling but the safeties coach said that there would not be a drop off

Johnson was a walk-on RB CNS moved to DB. Played many yrs in the NFL.

I believe he was a quarterback in high school. I agree he looked good and has played well since he’s gotten more playing time.

My only complaint was on the QB scramble 2 plays before his interception where he waited for Pyne to get to him when he was standing at the line to gain, instead of going downhill and stopping him a few yards short. But that's really not a huge deal in the grand scheme with how little he has played. He was trying to make sure Pyne didn't juke and force a missed tackle.

Johnson was a great player on a small school team that sucked (Sulligent HS).

He was one of them guys who slipped through the cracks imo. You gotta be a dude to go from walk-on to starter.

That's what I mean. He wasn't even a 3 star, and didn't even play safety, but he understood the game so well that his very minor negatives that determine a star ranking didn't matter.

Pretty sure he was the MS Gatorade player of the year and a high four star but maybe I’m wrong

I believe he was Mr Football in Mississippi as a senior. I remember watching video of him. Great athlete, He could really run the ball and was a pretty good passer too. So, I’m not terribly surprised he shows early signs of being a good player.

He was the second leading tackler last week and today. Not too shabby.

Levi Wallace doing it during the peak of the Nick Saban era is so impressive. No wonder he has stuck around in the pros albeit never being a star. You doing something right to start off as the practice fodder and end up reversing the role.
