When was the last time you remember the home team hearing widespread boos directed at them in BD?

Mississippi State in 2006 was ugly. Folks were wearing paper sacks that day.

I really hope we don't do that. That's really trashy behavior.

I'm sure it was probably ULM in 2007.

I was there and I can tell you there were boobirds.

I'm pretty sure I heard someone in the student section talk about how Saban was a fraud. I bet he feels stupid.

I was in a MySpace group and people were nuking Saban into orbit after that game. Not gonna pretend like I wasn't one of them

On a related note, I stumbled across this gem on YouTube the other day...

I’m sure the FIU game was a real run game to watch

The 2006 season was rough. We struggled with Duke and Vandy. I remember that we were losing to Duke at halftime. MSU was the worst though. That was the game that really got Shula fired.

It was no more than 20%, but it was undeniable.

2006 Auburn when Shula decided to kick a FG instead of going for it from the 2. AU players were running up to our sideline challenging him and he made the signal to kick.

He deserved every bit of the boos.

That was akin to DeBoer deciding to kick the field goal on Saturday instead of challenging the offensive line to get two yards. The whole team is soft.

We were dangerously close to winning that 2006 Iron Bowl. Two back to back JPW sack fumbles in our own territory set Auburn up in the red zone for two easy touchdowns which would ultimately cost us the game.

Imagine where we'd be today if Shula managed to pull that one out of his arse.

I knew in my heart that we weren’t beating Auburn that day in 2006. It made me sick to my stomach to see us lose to them. But it worked out in the end because we got Saban.

That 2006 IB in Tuscaloosa was the last time I felt hopeless about the program until Saturday night.

Milroe needs to hear nothing but boos as soon as the sets foot off the bus, and if he doesn't like it, he can take his arse right back onto the bus. He's a paid professional, as they all are now, and they are all mercenaries out to just get what money they can. See Isaiah Bond. Surely Milroe is on social media enough to know that a large percentage of the fan base is fed up with his shite.

I was one of the first OG's on this site & got banned right after I dropped an N bomb when Sylvester Croom beat the shite out of Mike Shula. The boos were louder than the Dave's on JP Sports.

ETA: lost in the ether is me posting my betting slips from the one & only time I have ever bet against Alabama. I had State +14.5. I had the ML. I even took them first half +7. Even that wasn't enough to stop me from ragequitting.

I sat behind the Bama bench during that Mississippi State game and watched JPW walk back to the sideline after multiple three and outs, sit on the bench with no coach talking to him to help with the next series. Guess who does that now, Milroe. Just, get some water and go play the same plays again. He needs coached up more than anyone in the history of coaching up.
