Was AJ right? Was a majority of the team doo doo or is he just another JJ Redick/McDaniel?

I must have missed AJ saying that about the talent.......Holtz was a good coach but he also held very loose reins on team discipline and it shows. DTR filled in for this year but AJ has to improve QB for next year.

I thought Josh Jobe and LaBryan Ray were still in the NFL? And Bo Scarborough, who could never stay healthy in college, is still playing!

No he definitely wasn’t right. This team was picked as the odds on favorite based on talent by a good bit. Ex NFL guys on the team and former college stars.
Corral was awful to begin the year so they traded for DTR and he’s been better but the offense is still really bad.
Holtz brought in a lot of players he knew could execute his scheme and that was successful. This year there’s more talent and less anyone knowing what they’re doing and we’re likely missing the playoffs

I watched half of the game Sat and turned it off. I am done for this season. Maybe next season will be better. The dynasty is officially dead for now.

Skip Holtz has coached football longer than AJ McCarron has been alive and Skip was the son of a man who won a national title as a head coach in college football too.
The team probably underachieved but they also had a head coach who had never been a coach at any level until the first time he walked on the practice field with the Stallions. Not a big surprise things didn’t go as well as they did with the man who had more years as a head coach than AJ’s playing career even if you counted high school, college, and pro.
