Well the team travels anyway. All the teams play out of Dallas. It’d be a home game in that the crowd is on their side.

Idk if it’s feasible but just thinking of things that could save the league.

Part of me wonders if the UFL would be better served to have “State Teams”

Let’s say they are the Alabama Stallions. There’s 5 home games. Play 2 in Birmingham, 1 in Huntsville, 1 in Mobile, 1 in Montgomery. This would keep it fresh and each city could build up enough support to all come out for their one big game and if you’re a big enough fan maybe you travel to the other host cities.

Dallas and Houston are having attendance problems as well. But if they we the “Texas Gamblers” and had a a game in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin then I think you get the whole state excited for one team.

Professional teams have done this before. The Golden State Warriors had home games all over California at one time.

Excellent Idea! They can't just keep beating their heads against 1,500 people at the games in Birmingham.

Even better would be if the team solely consisted of ex AL, AU, UAB, Troy, etc, players. You can't tell me people wouldn't support a team made up of local players. The marketing opportunities would be crazy. Here is a sample roster:

I’d have a hard time cheering for Auburn players

Game on the line. I want the Stallions to win but can’t stomach Shitham throwing a TD.

I have a hard time thinking Birmingham would support the team if Nick Saban was the coach. LOL Just not a pro sports town.....

It’s the USFL. Why would anyone in any city ever care any amount?

There is a path to fan interest but it’s not how they’ve run it. There are minor league baseball and hockey teams that crush it. MLS has grown a lot.

Changing owners every year and there being a constant fear of league shutdown or relocation kills interest
