What would you say are the best single game coaching performances by an Alabama OC/DC? What about for a season?

For a season give me Kiffin with Blake Sims. I don't think these other guys could've pulled that off.

For a game give me Sark v Ohio State natty. Those bitches didn't stand a chance.

I think that defensively the 29-0 shutout of LSU in 2018 is up there, especially with all the incredible talent that LSU had on offense, and it being in Death Valley. It was a top 5 match up as well.

Offensively, I always think about that 2014 SECCG against Missouri. That opening drive was a thing of beauty, and set the tone for a perfectly balanced offensive performance.

OC - Sark in the 2020 natty. That was simply a master class in coaching. Honorable mention to McElwain in the 2009 SECCG.

DC - Kirby on the night the lights went out on the bayou.

For a whole season Sark in 2020 and Joe Kines dragging a Mike Shula led team to a 10 win season in 2005.

Brother Bill's gameplan vs Miami for the 1992 NCG was an absolute masterpiece.

1/9. It was as if millions of drunk, stupid coonasses cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

Not the best, but honorable mention should go to Homer Smith and what he did with Gary Hollingsworth in '89.

The beatdown we gave Texas a&m in 2014 was a pretty good one, after losing in 2012 and another close one in 2013...

Also the "Rain Game" at Georgia in 2015, when we were picked to lose.

1993 sugar bowl is the 1993 sugar bowl. That's on the all-time list.

Of the under-the radar ones, though, 2015 Alabama-LSU game. That ended a Heisman campaign and showed that Bama had a defense that could take them all the way. I had doubts before that night.

The top for me, though, is 2014 Mississippi State. That was Mullen's chance with a really good team he assembled. The season didn't end on a high note that year, but I felt that year was making do with less relative to Saban's prior teams. Probably one of the best all-around staff coaching jobs I have seen following the Arkansas game.

Good call. Last season's Ole Miss game reminded me of that game.

Given the level of talent on offense compared to later Saban teams, the '08 UGa Blackout game was about as good of an offensive scheme as you could hope for.
