It’s unfortunately one of those heart vs brain dilemmas.

For some of them it is, but for some it's just a brain dilemma. Come back and improve your stock, and the difference could very well be millions of dollars between this draft and next.

That’s true. I guess this mainly applies to Tua, McKinney, Smith, Leatherwood, and Moses. I think it applies to Najee also, but it seems he’s already NFL-bound regardless.

I get why Najee wants to go but he's going to be a 3rd rounder at best with this years RB class. No idea how strong next year's class is.

We’ll all find out soon enough when we hear straight from the players. But in the mean time it makes for good speculation.

I could see the ones who are “maxed out” so to speak to go ahead and get a contract to get that next contract started but for others , you only get that signing bonus one time and it can be a big difference by moving into the 1st round

I support the kids whatever they decide. Just hope they make informed decisions

Terrell Lewis is definitely gone, his Snapchat story has another player singing in the locker room “Roll damn tide but I won’t practice for free no more” and TL captioned it “Big M????D”

Can’t tell who the singing player is

??? Maybe they just want McDonalds? That would mean all are staying since the White House served up MCDonalds to Clemson this year!

I've said from the very beginning that Tua might very well come back because his draft stock likely would fall, and almost no one else believed it at the time. Now it seems that more people may think it could happen. The difference between a top 5 pick and an end of the first round pick is millions of dollars you never get back. Sure, it's a risk, but Tua is talking now like he may feel it's a risk worth taking. We'll see.

Just heard from someone else there is a good bit of truth to it all. Let’s see how they are influenced in the coming weeks.

I just don't see this happening. Hope I'm wrong but I think they're all riding high on emotions right now. Disappointed with how the season ended, disrespected by the committee saying they're 13th, no new years 6 bowl, etc has them all fired up. But once the bowl is over and the natty is played I'm afraid all but maybe 1 or 2 of them will settle down and decide entering the draft is what's best for them.

I think you’re right. No doubt about it.

But as a spoiled rotten fan that I am. This would go down as one of the greatest legends in Alabama history. Tua makes a come back from a server injury. Inspired other players to return back and make a run at the title. They win the title. Talking about cementing a legacy. Be a helluva 30 for 30.

But like you said...

Granted he's talented but It's not like he had a Tim Williams type impact this year... If he wants to move on then best of luck to him.
