Bama in the mix for the men’s and women’s titles late. We have individual event winners but probably don’t have the depth down the scoring to beat Arky or LSU. We win a race and get 10 points but Arky has three in the points and beat us 15-10. Dan Waters is working miracles with what he has.

I agree, Alabama used to be nowhere in sight for track and field and swimming and diving as well. It’s amazing what is happening throughout the athletic department.
Dirty play by Arky in the men’s 5000m
Greg Byrne definitely deserves AD of the year!

So no one from Ark was dq’d for impeding the Alabama runner?
We are good in long distance runs, not so much in sprints.

Dude, Tamara Clark. She swept the 100 and 200 meters, with the fastest time in collegiate history in the 200. We just need three like her to score and win championships. Also, Robert Dunning won the 110M hurdles.
We also hired Carmelita Jeter last year for women’s sprints. Olympic gold medalist (4x100 relay) and world class sprinting legend. We’re working on it.
