Some hard contact, but kept them off the scoreboard thanks to good defense.
Over halfway home 12 down, 9 to go! Think it might be time to bring in Beaver. Might give Briski one more runner on base. But if anyone gets on, time to go to Beaver to take us home!
(Funny side note, just ran into someone in hotel in Mississippi who works with Beaver’s dad about an hour ago…he had no idea Beaver was about to pitch to try and get us to the WCWS).

Swung at ball 3 and 4, took strike 3. TN pitcher is good mixing up the fastball and changeup though.

I think this has been a problem throughout the season for her. She was pitching in high school games last year after all. The innings management has gotten her to this point with her rise ball still having good movement and rarely hanging.

If this was 2-0 lead or Beaver didn’t pitch 1000 innings yesterday, she’d already be in there. With a 4-0 lead, they’re riding her. But I don’t want to give UT any momentum. First runner gets on, pull her.

Missouri gave up 4 in the 9th after 8 shutout innings. They’ve got 2 on and one out, trying to get the tying run to the plate. 4-0 lead can still be a little nervous if the bases get loaded.

Wife's sister has a daughter in med school at Duke. Definately not SEC level coed talent around there and I've seen enough of the Mizzou loons on tv to make the same claim
