What the hell did I do? ESPN had a “way to early rankings” and that’s what it was.

I was complimenting you for trying to change the subject - and those two guys keep dragging their personal beef on and on. Take a compliment, guy

Ranking us about at 10 to start the season sounds about right, but I'm struggling to think of 9 teams that should actually be better. UGA will stay at #1 until someone knocks them off, TCU, Michigan, and Ohio State are paper tigers, They will certainly put Tennessee in front of us but we all know they are going to flame out after over achieving last year. I'm not sure if Clemson has solved whatever their problems are. LSU is a question mark. Kelly did a fantastic job last year and finished at 6 in the recruiting rankings, but I've seen coaches who do well in the underdog roll not be able to adjust to being the hunted.

I think we will move up once we have a qb and people can see them in the spring but just like basketball rankings no longer matter. Just win and we will move up.

LSU will be picked to win the west and should be. They return all of their production as compared to Alabama sitting at 125 of 133 teams in returning production which granted was mostly Bryce Young. Not to despair I really believe the OL will be leaps and bounds better than the last two years and I expect to see both Miltoe and Simpso behind center depending on game plan. Reese has run schemes with a Milroe type such as Gilson and Simpson who is more of a passer. I expect both will see a half each until the winner of QB1 wins the team over. I expect to see a MCCarron VD Phillip Simms type battle this year. JMO

No clue maybe TRob like when Karl Scott was here one year he was just DB coach think it was 18. Saban can coach the corners by himself really.

Max Bullough, a Tide GA who was "promoted" to defensive analyst, will instead head to Notre Dame as a GA.

Bama is hiring former Boston College OC John McNulty as an analyst. Before being fired at BC, he worked with Rees at ND as TE Coach from 2020 to 2021.

That was weird move.

He exhausted his eligibility to be a GA at Bama, so he was gonna transition to analyst.
Think it means he rather still be an on field assistant...

Alabama is reportedly hiring former Boston College OC, John McNulty, as an analyst. He's a friend of Tommy Rees. He has a lot of NFL experience, as well as college experience. He was fired from Boston College after an abysmal offensive season for this past season. A lot of their problems were apparently due to an injury plagued OL (the OL coach was canned, too). Looks like another Saban rehab, it may help ease Tommy Rees' settling into Tuscaloosa, too, having an old friend around.

this announcement tells me NS is done with his coaching hires.

That announcement didn't tell you that. You jumped to that conclusion yourself.
ETA: It appears you're actually right (if no more coaches depart).
