If this doesn’t tell you all you need to know about this team and its mindset, I don’t know what will. Tons of me attitudes. Zero alphas. Of course all previous players have stated as such.

Lol how many fans have said we have nothing to play for, bash those of us who still believe we can make the playoffs for hoping and demand we all accept our season is over?

If Bryce doesn’t play we won’t be ending on a good note imo. Can’t see us beating a good team with Milroe.

Milroe and Simpson will be able to take all the reps in practice, that should help, maybe. Hopefully, whoever we play will have players that sit out, too. Probably not as many, though.

Yep. They should get a months worth of practice. Should be a jump start to the spring quarterback battle.

I don't know why any Alabama fan would downvote either of our posts, which merely expressed hope that our young QB's would be able to benefit from the extra reps. I guess anything less than abject pessimism is sunshine pumping.

Anderson Jr. Selected as Lott Trophy Finalist

The junior is one of four finalists for the award named after NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Will Anderson Jr. was named a finalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation announced on Wednesday morning.

The linebacker is joined by Felix Anudike-Uzomah (Kansas State), Tommy Eichenberg (Ohio State) and Tuli Tuipulotu (USC) to make up the list of four finalists for this year's award. DeMeco Ryans was selected as the Lott's 2005 honoree and is the only Alabama player to earn the accolade in program history.

The Lott IMPACT Trophy, which has been presented each of the last 18 years, goes to the student-athlete who best exhibits the characteristics of Ronnie Lott by making an IMPACT on and off the field. The acronym IMPACT stands for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity. The group of finalists for are now invited to attend the annual awards show on Dec. 11 with the winner being announced at the event.

From the AU board assuming they land Kiffen:

Jim Dunaway on the Next Round today said to look for a battle between UA and AU over Pruitt. He thinks UA wants him as an analyst and Lane wants him as DC.

Lots of talk on their board about Pruitt as their DC

Yeah that wouldn't be ideal. I mean Saban come on man.. I know you love Golding but Pruitt ain't getting a HC gig in a long long time...

You got your secure DC right there. No worries about anyone stealing him.

Plus he is actually good at you know being a DC.

That's a very good article about the walk-on's, specifically Jackson Roby. Another member of the Neighbor's family graduating Bama.

Pruitt may not be a good option for either right now, until Tennessee's NCAA issues are resolved. News stories out today that he gave cash to a recruit's mother in a Chick-fil-A bag. And that he admitted to the NCAA that he did it (to help her pay expenses and medical bills).
