I mean, we all love football, but there's a point of diminishing returns here, versus someone putting that $10k towards a home theater.

Coach Saban's SEC weekly media teleconference (19 mins)

(note: first half is Coach Saban and the latter half is Josh Heupel)

I just don't get it. Why is it by force Dalcourt must start when healthy when we have seen Seth be far superior?

Why?

Sounds like Vols’ WR Cedric Tillman is not expected to play Saturday.

Also pretty wild that their starting safety who was arrested for felony assault is still practicing this week.

The real question is why don’t we have a beat reporter with some nuts who will ask nick that question.

This is the biggest news besides Bryce’s health. If true, this is huge.

They will probably play their senior safety who just got arrested. But it sounds like Tillman is out, coming off ankle surgery. Even if he does play you can't expect him to be 100%

It'd really be quite a statement by a head coach to let a player play in a game while he has a pending felony assault charge. On the other hand, maybe it's better if he plays? Their pass defense can only improve with the backup in

ETA: Weird how two other players charged with felony assault were dismissed from the team (I realize those charges were domestic felony assault, but still felony assault), yet this guy might play on Saturday.

quote:

McCullough is the third Tennessee player to be arrested in the past two months. Two transfers, offensive lineman Savion Herring from Monroe College in New Rochelle, New York, and linebacker William Mohan from Michigan, were arrested on individual felony aggravated domestic assault charges and were dismissed from the team. Mohan and Herring were arrested on Aug. 21 and Sept. 11, respectively.

It's UTk. Picking up a felony charge is more likely to result in him being named a team captain than a suspension.

The Stat Nick Saban is 'Emphasizing like Crazy' during Tennessee Week (SI)

Alabama ranks near the bottom in the country in an area Saban calls, "one of the most compelling stats relative to winning and losing."
