So without naming names Saban said we have enough wide receivers but not enough offensive lineman.

Can't believe we don't have a stud left tackle lined up. Was Brockermeyer just a recruiting miss?

The OL bit might be a recruiting pitch to Steen the Vandy guy.

I think WR will not be what holds us back. if anything it will be offensive line. Burton should be a star, Holden is a big possession guy who should be big on 3rd down, you always need one of those. Then they need at least 2 others to spark. Between Aaron Anderson, Jo Jo Earle Kendrick Law or one of the summer arrivals I think we will be ok. Also Gibbs will be more active in the passing game than Brob was and Latu could have a monster season, (he will be obscenely rich if he does). Also Amari Niblack, he is someone with some rare size and athleticism. He might add an X factor as well

I just don’t know if Latu will ever be that dude. He’s had some monstrous drops for us.

The bigger the game, the more disastrous his mistakes.

From our friends at SI

On This Date in Crimson Tide History
April 8, 1975: “Toys in the Attic,” the third studio album by Aerosmith, was released by Columbia Records. It included the hit singles "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way." If you’re wondering what it has to do with Alabama athletics, take a very close look at the album cover.

Is Bama’s mascot on this classic Aerosmith album cover?
Short answer to is that Big AL? YES "When I look at the “Toys” cover and see that elephant, it makes me think of University of Alabama football. Was that intentional?

Actually, it was. [Laughs] Ingrid was a big fan of that college and I think her sister went there or something like that. But yeah, I asked her about that, and that was that. Also, if you look (on the cover) at the lock on the chest, that face is the guy she was living with back then, Ed Silvers, who was the head of Warner Brothers Music. He was kind of an (expletive), but that's what he looked like."

All signs point to the defense dominating second scrimmage. Hall is clearly gone from the program. Offensive line struggling bigly.
