Oh No!! This would be bad for us,they are already playing during the bye week.
You think Ogre just wants to duck playing us this year?

I imagine Orgeron had them licking door handles for the last two weeks in order to get this game cancelled.

A&M having a outbreak too, their game against Tennessee might get pushed back to Dec 12th.

Should be a forfeit imho. They voluntarily exposed themselves because their season was already lost. Plus they are 25 point underdogs. Why reward them for being less prudent?

So my question is, if Saban was able to test positive and then get 3 subsequent negative tests to be cleared, why can't LSU do the same for their players who are in quarantine?

Would they want to even if they could?

Is it possible this game could be rescheduled to the last week? I’ve heard that divisional games take precedent over non ones. So it could replace the Florida game for LSU?

LINK ]LSU-Alabama game in jeopardy after coronavirus outbreak; TJ Finley only QB available: source (The Advocate)
quote:

LSU coach Ed Orgeron told reporters Monday morning that the football team is dealing with another coronavirus outbreak ahead of its game against Alabama on Saturday.

Multiple players are in quarantine, Orgeron said, and starting players are also involved. Orgeron did not specify the exact number of players or which players are quarantined.

The outbreak has left LSU with only one scholarship quarterback available, TJ Finley, and the Tigers do not have any scholarship tight ends available, a source confirmed with The Advocate. The news was first reported by The Athletic.

"Can't go into detail," Orgeron said. "It's a very fluid situation. i can tell you that we do have players that got COVID and we do have some players that are quarantined. I can't tell you the numbers. I'm going to let the doctors take care of all that. We're focused on playing Alabama Saturday night."

LSU's game against Alabama is now in jeopardy, and, according to The Athletic, the Southeastern Conference is expected to make a decision within the next 24 hours.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

Anyone know what is going on with George Pickens at Ga. Some of their fans think he is leaving. He has wasted 2 years in that 1970s offense that Kirby runs.

Saw rumors suggested it was career threatening. Anyone have an idea on that?

Based on Saban's remarks, it seems to me that rumors at this juncture about Trey's football future being in jeopardy are probably just speculation.

Selfish a-hole who happens to be really talented goes to program with minimal accountability and continues to be selfish a-hole. More at 11.

Auburn-MSU postponed. A&M has positives. Pittman at Ark positive. Bama-LSU game up in the air. Really hope this thing doesn’t fall apart

Yeah at this point I'd be really surprised if they don't postpone our game and try to figure something out with scheduling. I think it's probably about to all fall apart though. Hindsight is always 20/20, but they probably should have started a week or two before they did and built in 1-2 extra bye weeks.
