Might spend the extra time working with Golding,Strong and Kelly devising a foolproof defense and perhaps mentoring Golding at the same time.
He will for sure find best uses for his time. Man is relentless.

It will also give our injured players time to heal up better and work with the new S&C coaches. With no spring practice this year or A Day game, this will be the most anticipated season in long time.

Just read on reddit that Ben Davis is our career sack leader for our current outside linebackers

How many QB sacks has Ben Davis achieved in his four years at Bama?

Despite that, I feel good about the talent at that spot. Mwikuta and Allen are good players. I think Mwikuta is a break out potential. Hopefully Parks and maybe some of the younger players provide good minutes.

1 lol chris Allen has a half a sack in his career. I wouldn't say that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling but we definitely have the talent now, just need them to start producing

With the amount of talent that we have at OLB I have faith that at least one or two will step up

Agreed. The production is not there but the talent is. I'd look for possibly all three of the true freshmen to play. Sanders and Anderson in particular are freaks. Allen should be better now that he's healthy. It's incredible to think that Alabama very well might have three starting linebackers from Baton Rouge on the field together.

Jennings was solid but not spectacular. Lewis was great when he was actually healthy and that was not often. Alabama will be fine rushing the passer. I'm excited about the group.

Jennings will be the hardest one to replace honestly. We will miss his leadership

He was a good leader but I like the talent that is replacing him. He was much better as a player before the knee injury he had in 2017. That was a major setback.

No he shouldn't have. The game only had two minutes left and he was in there. Dumb decision considering the trip to the national championship game was booked. He had the game of his life against Clemson. Damn shame.

Daybreak: Surreality reigns over UA, college sports landscape (Podcast)
quote:

As Selection Sunday came and went, a new reality cast itself across the college sports landscape. With the COVID-19 virus showing no signs of relent, uncertainty as to how, when and where some semblance of normalcy would return only intensified.

Topics of particular interest to Alabama fans:

-- Separating probable from improbable where eligibility extensions are concerned.

-- Even in a best case scenario, would shortened baseball and softball seasons make much sense?

-- BOL updates of note (and there are plenty more to come).

if spring ball is cancelled do you think they will allow an early summer 2 weeks of practice. Maybe even have it before summer term starts?

You know, in all honesty, I don't care if they do or not. I'm confident that with CNS at the helm, he will have it figured out and have Alabama better prepared than our opponents early on. I think this probably gives Bama an advantage because we will be better prepared than most.
