I'm not certain whether Feld has or has not interviewed. Some have said he was at UA on Tues. Tim Watts said he's been unable to get reliable confirmation either way. Maybe Feld interviewed via phone or computers.

Feld not being interviewed in person tells me Saban isn’t serous about him for whatever reason. If he shows up in town for an interview, I’ll consider him a candidate at that point.

I didn't say Feld definitely hasn't interviewed in person. "Insiders" have been all over the place on what's going on between Bama and Feld. There's one poster on BOL who says he's related to two former UA FB players who've told him that Feld has interviewed in person, wants the job and will likely be hired. A couple of other very reliable "insiders" say Saban isn't in a rush and plans to interview several candidates before he decides who he wants to hire. Tim Watts says that as well. It appears we'll have to be patient and just wait to see who Saban hires.

He's one guy that I'd pay hardly any attention to what he says. It doesn't make much sense that Feld would be on campus and not talk to Saban about the job opening, imo.

Right, but the program is undergoing changes to become more advanced. So, why would Feld come to campus if not to talk to CNS about the S&C program and Head S&C coach opening?

Saban wants very advanced and integrated Sports Science and S&C Programs -- to optimize physical development and performance as well as injury prevention and injury recovery/rehab. The S&C hire(s) will be a pivotal part of achieving his objectives. Jeff Allen is also involved in this overall endeavor.
