This tweet by PFF probably wouldn't sit well with the LSU fans.

Smith, Moses, and Leatherwood came back to improve their draft stock and I truly believe they will. I doubt any of the other juniors that have/will declare could improve their stock much except maybe Ruggs.

Getting DeVonta back is huge for our offense. Now that he will be lining up with Waddle for most plays, we can work in Mitchie at both outside and the slot, Bolden in the slot, and Shavers outside. That'll give those less experienced WRs time to get worked into the offense instead of having to depend on them from the outset. If Smith hadn't come back, our receiving corp would've been a huge question mark.

I don't have anything to base it on. Just seems like he is Saban's golden child and Saban probably wants to avoid more staff turnover.

FWIW Thunderbird is still saying he thinks ruggs will be back. I would think Tua declaring would probably push him to go pro though. Somebody said he didnt get a first or second round grade. Well he said he got a 3rd round grade which they only give 1st, 2nd or return to school grades so hes probably fos

LOL I was about to post this, but mine was going to be much more cynical and basically invite more fighting about insiders so good job Brostache you did it better than I

No way Golding is staying. Saban was pissed at what he saw vs Michigan. Time to move to a staff that has plenty of ties with Alabama and/or a Pruitt style defense:

DC/DB: Derrick Ansley
DL: Tosh Lupoi
OLB: Sal Sunseri
ILB: Glenn Schumann
DB: Charles Kelly

Three new faces, but all are familiar with Saban/Alabama. These are all good coaches, all with Bama style DNA. It means no Bo Davis and no Karl Scott, but still has plenty of elite recruiters.

I remember when we could make defensive adjustments after 1-3 possessions. Now we have to wait until halftime. That’s a back breaker against top teams

Lol trust me it's been pretty tough not to melt especially when this was my state of mind a few days ago

These guys are really setting a new standard for how the young guys should go about going to the draft. This is taking the "process" to a whole new level. It could really open some young guys eyes if these dudes come back, absolutely wreck shite next year and go higher in the draft. This is wishful thinking on my part of course but it would be awesome if we could start keeping all of these higher round draft eligible juniors rather than losing them.

but hey you win some and lose some I guess. Will definitely temper my expectations from now on with the inside info though
