I hate to be grim but he got a D+ his NFL career could be DOA... so he is absolutely making the right decision to go ahead and get that payday

My final post on the Tua thing:

Tua went to NY and sat with a specialist who rates hips from A-D, apparently Tua got a C-/D+. This person was connected to the NYG.

Galu had also made some demands about Lia playing and after Alabama was going to pay or already had paid the premium for insurance and found a job for him it seems he has taken advantage of it some. Also a GM said Tua could be top 15 when a bunch of them said he couldn’t.

From the UA side they feel like they have done everything they can. They didn’t like having demands thrown at them etc.

So bottom line Tua wants to come back and Galu has thrown a wrench.

That’s from my coaching source and he says dad usually gets what he wants.

That’s all I have.

It's much easier to type "I think I was wrong" instead of spinning this.

You said a few days ago he told the coaches his intentions to come back and now his dad talked to people in New York and everything changed.

My only response to your nonsense.

It’s not a spin. Tua wants to come back. His dad did as well. Then a well to do in NY connect to the Giants fills his head after the exam and we are here. It’s exactly what happened and Tua 100% planned to returned and was vocal about it until this visit happened. Galu runs the family bottom line.

I'm very much at peace with Tua leaving, especially with this medical report.

I'll be a lil melty if Schmitty leaves.

Why would they care what a Giants Rep thought? The Giants are not drafting a QB.

I just dont understand why NFL folks would give such assurances after a not great evaluation of his hip. And they might be saying Top 15 for now, but wait until after he declares and the different teams start picking everything apart and he slides way down. The NFL is cut throat as hell. Hopefully the family is being given the correct info from the folks in New York.

I mean if Fromm leaves Mac is probably the best returning QB in the SEC.

It's probably a doctor connected to an agent the family has been talking to.

If his hip is Bo Jackson'd then he will be lucky to get drafted at all because most teams will not even be willing to touch him. At that point graduating would likely provide him with more long term financial security than anything football related. Hell, if it really is that bad he may be better off just walking away from football entirely rather than risking further injury.

Yeah, these 2 things aren't squaring up.

Also I'd rather hear from Dr. Cain than anyone else.

That’s probably correct all he told me was connected to the NYG which, likely means through and agent.

Why is he going to NY to talk to a doc that didn’t do the surgery?

The surgery was done n Houston by the alleged best hip guy in the country. But now we’re talking to doctors in NY because of his best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who talked to doc that watched a Giants game once.

I guess it's pretty serious.

Saban apparently has a bunch of connected teams tell the family the same thing but the agent driven or GM driven narrative seems to have won the dad. Either way a lot of speculation on that front and it is what it is.

That 4th pick the giants have is really valuable to the 5, 6, 7th teams because they need a QB. If Tua stays that 4th pick is less valuable. Hope everyone involved on Tuas side understands this.

The thing with Galu making a demand on lia playing might be a reach. He may want to see him play sooner in blowouts and with the same plays. Galu knows lia is not Tua, he just wants him to gain experience when he transfers.

Not knocking your info boz, it's just my opinion from it.
