The injury curse leaves.
A couple of the young LBs come ready to play at a high level as did Rolando and Hightower.
The defense gets more QB pressure.
The DBs start looking for the ball.
The team becomes more disciplined.
Saban is more hands-on with the defense.
Some of the guys who stay become alphas.

Also, this is probably a huge reach BUT people on twitter pointed out that the top numbers change over and over from 1 to 3 when the dominoes in that gif fall.
