Seems like if you are a decent OC you can get a head coaching job nowadays. Fish don't seem to be biting for DCs who want to be head coaches.

Did Cohen commit? It is showing him as a Bama commit on 247.

Whoops wrong thread.

I got Boz to pin this Bama Football Info & News thread at the top -- because I think it'll help break the habit of posting a lot of stuff in the recruiting thread that really belongs in here instead. It won't take very long to get used to your "recruiting fix" thread being 2nd from the top.

ETA: It's not going back. Complaining about it won't make it happen.

I could see it. It’s a deep WR pool this year and Smitty doesn’t have some of the measureables the NFL covets. I think he’s a fantastic WR and I’d draft him in a heartbeat but some of these teams can’t see beyond the height number or the 40 time. All I know is Smitty can get open and he catches everything in his area. So if he’s coming back that gives us a 1-2-3 combo of Smitty, Waddle and Metchie. Thats pretty potent to me.

Interesting that Shavers and Jones graduated in 3 years. Wonder if Tua and Smith/Ruggs comes back if they will look to transfer out and be eligible to play right away at another school.

They aren't eligible immediately unless they've graduated.

Did you not see the article where it said they have graduated?

Why would Mac want to sit behind Tua again if Tua comes back? Same with Shavers, why sit behind Waddle, Ruggs and Smith again.

Mac and Shavers could go to any school that wants them and start next year.
