Honestly, this was probably the best outcome.
If we had blown out Arky, the team would probably be resting on their laurels all week in practice. Because this was a close game, I imagine it lights a fire under them to practice better/harder in preparation for the TSIO.
Based on the postgame presser, Saban certainly isn't happy with the performance.

Seems like this team can handle tough coaching and he knows they have the ability to be better than they are, but they are totally incapable of executing for more than a handful of plays in a row.

I have to say I don’t think Saban is wrong. Arkansas played everyone close just lost at the end.

I think we stay at #11 this week. UNC is beating down Miami, they'll probably leap us to fill that USC hole and I can't see Oregon dropping below us

It'll be interesting to see if Oregon drops past us or not. Losing to Washington on the road at the buzzer is a "better loss" than Texas at home by 2 scores. Oregon has also looked better in their other games. Although, their other games are against absolute scrubs. We've played a much better schedule and the Ole Miss and TAMU wins are better than anything on Oregon's schedule.

Our Arkansas win was so ugly I have serious doubts they drop below us. We’re not the best 1 loss team via eye test
