Any news on Lawson?
Saban said this last night:

Saban on Deontae Lawson: "He's got a sprained ankle. he's gonna be day-to-day. It's a pretty good one, so nobody knows how long it will take him to respond. That's all I can tell you."

Something happened yesterday and from that point it was a different team. Right about the time Milroe went down.

Also can we talk about in the final Ole Miss play the safety blitz yes Moore killed Dart but Key freaking obliterated the running back. He flew back 4 yards.

I'm happy to be the 1st person to report this, Will Reichard @WillReichard Is the 1st person in the HISTORY OF THE UNIVESITY OF ALABAMA to make 20 Field Goals in a row!
He breaks his own record of 19 from 2019 to 2021.

The Crimson Tide moves up one spot in both the Coaches (No. 11) and AP Poll (No. 12.) and remains the highest-ranked one-loss team in the Coaches Poll. Notre Dame is ahead of Alabama in the AP Poll after losing to Ohio State Saturday.

I was happy to see the quick change in approaching a 4th and long defense. They dropped 7 on the first 4th and long in that drive when it was pretty clear they should've just been protecting the sticks and trying to get the ball out of his hands quick.
The next 4th and long play they do a late shift to a double safety blitz and Dart had no chance.

What happened to him?

Doesn’t really answer your question but here’s what was on SI for the ‘in game’ injury report
quote:
Ferguson, who was already in for the injured Dalcourt, gets up gingerly and has to be helped off the field after that third down play. He is taken straight to the injury tent. Ferguson is also taken to the locker room.

Hopefully Lawson will be back in the line up soon

Would love to see Campbell and Lawson out there at the same time but I think we've got an issue where they're both only comfortable with WILB this year. I imagine the longterm (2024) plan is to get both of them on the field after Marshall graduates.

Not true. Lawson is the Mike. He’s also draft eligible after this year and likely gone

I thought on the depth chart that Marshall was MILB and Lawson WILB. Blackshear is the backup Mike and Campbell the Will.
At least that is the last depth chart I saw...

I think against both USF and Ole Miss, Campbell came in after the first or second series for Trez Marshall and played alongside Lawson at WILB. Not sure who was calling the defense once Lawson went down vs. ole miss and we had #40 and #30 on the field at the same time. We rotated Blackshire, Campbell and Marshall regularly once Lawson went down.

I am not whining just clarifying my position because over the past 3 games I may have posted harsh comments regarding Milroe at QB but do not want them compared to others who do not want him to succeed. I hope he can succeed
You may be right that Alabama does not have a QB who can lead them to a NC, though Milroe is improving game by game. His pocket-presence is still lacking and he's does not anticipate well, causing some of his throws to be a little late.
But no one seems to be very impressive this year. Maybe JM can improve enough and Bama can sneak in and steal one. The D seems to be legitimate. A&M on the road and LSU seem to be the biggest hurdles in a down SEC, then likely UGA in the SECC game if Alabama gets that far.

I've watched a lot of SEC football this year and you're right, no one is just tearing it up. Jayden Daniels has looked pretty good but not amazing. Same with Spencer Rattler at USCe (although both can be erratic).
Other than them, all the rest are just decent but nothing spectacular.
