Weird - I got that from Hank from BOL's twitter like 45 minutes ago.

Then Kyle Henderson

Then Holden responded

For Alabama Football, the NCAA Transfer Legislation Offers Both Hurdles and Opportunities (SI)

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban spoke at-length about the new policy that will allow transfers one-time immediate eligibility

Bill O'Brien will be coaching the White team tomorrow while Doug Marrone will be coaching the Crimson team. How often is that you find two former NFL head coaches leading opposite teams in a college football spring scrimmage?

How odd is it that the DC isn't coaching a side?

The truth...

We have some COVID issues that will really mix things up. We were already going to be without Sanders, Mathis, Emil, Quick, Metchie, Moore and now we are going to be without several key defensive players and some offensive players.

Nothing is final until Saturday but, as Saban has said, safety will be top priority. Rosters can change since players out. Going to be fun to see some new players and new groups of players get some playing time together, but might see more mistakes than normal.

I expect first team offense to have starting 11 plus a few to rotate in every position: OL Neal, Brown, Owens, George, Randolph, Cohen; TE Billingsly and Latu; WR Bolden, Baker, Holden, Xavier; RB BRob and Williams; QB Young.

I expect second team offense to be OL Brockermeyer, McLaughlin, Dalcourt, Kight, Latham; TE Major Tennison; WR Jones-Bell, Agiye Hall, Joshua Lanier; RB Jase McClellan and Kyle Edwards; QB Tyson

Defense has a lot of moving parts. Starters have not changed but some will miss.

As Saban said, this is more about the experience and getting used to crowds again!! And getting the competition blood rising! I expect to see some great plays on both sides of the ball.

For fun, I predict that Williams and Latu have a big day on offense as well as Battle and Chris Allen on defense. With first team defense out some players, I expect to see a big day from first team offense. BUT, the story of spring is our first team defense is really good!!! Oh, I expect Will to make every FG!!!

Have fun and RTR!!!

Yeah, although Saban said, "We’ll probably make it pretty simple on offense and defense so that guys can go out there and play fast and sort of show us what they can do.”

Up and getting ready. Where should my daughter and I eat breakfast? These were suggested Rama Jama, Another Broken Egg, or Metro Diner. I showed her pics of Metro and she said, “I just want a waffle. I don’t need a chicken and gravy fancy waffle. Just. A. Waffle. Dad.”

Personally, since City Cafe is closed on the weekends I would go to Rama Jama's or Waysider. Probably Rama Jama's.

yeah offensively I am actuality curious to see Tyson and Milroe play because we need to have a solid back up going into the season.I already know Bryce is good to go but understand he and Obrien need game like conditions as for communication. The battle for left guard and right tackle along with the left CB battle between Davis and Williams should be interesting as well.

Its going to be crazy to see all the DL,LB,DB depth on display.I would also like to see one of the younger safeties come on like hellems did last year.We know what Branch can do but I would like to see one of Tunage,Story solidify a second team spot even-though we could see the juco kid coming in later make it very interesting back there.

Wr wise its really wide open and look forward to see all of them play. But I would say its a big opportunity for Holden and williams who will have to hold off Agiye Hall,Thaiu Jones-Bell.Both of them are one the Crimsom team and will see plenty reps from the starting possession. The dual receiving threat at TE with 19 and 81 and what RB shows he can be a threat in the passing game like 22 was last year will also be something I would like to see.Well that was just a few thoughts on today scrimmage and hope ever-body is as excited as I am to see the young talent.
