Alabama--yes, @AlabamaBSB--had the largest run differential in SEC baseball play this year at plus-48, one ahead of Arkansas. The Crimson Tide didn't play Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina, which went a combined 43-46 in the SEC.

what would those be?
NIL commitment and help from the admissions office on out of state players would be a great start

Wow....those numbers are so close. I would feel good/better if we just went ahead and won the whole Fing thing/SEC Tourney

Alabama Baseball Eager to Play in Hoover Again, Aims for SEC Tournament Run (SI)
Riding a five-game winning streak, the Crimson Tide isn't losing focus heading into the postseason, which could include return to Tuscaloosa for a regional.

I think if we win two games in Hoover we are going to be hosting for sure. If we lose our first one - hold on to your arse, but with so many other teams hovering there, I don't like it.

Pinckney Named SEC Co-Scholar Athlete, Among Multiple SEC Postseason Awards for Alabama
The Crimson Tide was well-represented on the league’s postseason awards lists
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama had five players earn a combined six different accolades on the Southeastern Conference's postseason awards lists, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Highlighting the group was Andrew Pinckney, who was selected as the SEC Co-Scholar Athlete. He is just the second in Alabama history, joining Emeel Salem (2006-07). Pinckney was also tabbed to All-SEC Second Team in the outfield.
Jim Jarvis and Drew Williamson were each named to the SEC All-Defensive Team. Two of the best defenders in program history, the duo are the first Crimson Tide players to earn the All-Defensive recognition at their respective positions.
Rounding out the group were Alton Davis II and Colby Shelton, who were each tabbed to the Freshman All-SEC Team. Their selection represented the first time Alabama had two players on the All-Freshman list since 2013 when Ray Castillo and Kyle Overstreet were recognized following their rookie campaign.

I sure hope it works out but I hate that decision to be honest

Furtado is going to light it up.

Don't love it but he looked like a different guy against Troy. Don't know if that was a Jackson adjustment made after Bo left or a mental thing or just a lucky good night.

This team is confident right now. They know the coach was holding them back. Imagine how good you would feel after winning 8 of 10 after finding out your coach was betting against you.

Furtado has the stuff. Maybe he can put it together. Plus the Met is quite a big yard so some of those homers in SEC stadiums turn into outs or doubles there.
The good thing is Kentucky played even a day after us so they should be further down their arms. If we can win, we should be able to bring back our regular weekend rotation starting Wednesday. This is definitely where the losses of Hess and Hitt show up even more. Instead of a guy who has started a lot of games like McNairy, you have to go with an unproven starter.
We are going to have to score some runs regardless.
