Oh ok. I didn't know it was just the LSU series alone. It seemed like people were pretty suspicious about a lot of games during the course of the year.

Nobody knows about other games. The other games is a combination of two things - (a) it's hard to believe somebody just decided to randomly do this one time and (b) Bo is the worst in game manager most of us have ever seen and so it seems to maybe possibly somewhat explain the shite he did.

But it's also possible he's just a gawd awful in game manager who has no clue how to manage a pitching staff or the running game.

As of now that is the only series we are aware of. Could there be more? Absolutely.

Yeah, by us.

He made some head scratching decisions as our 3rd base coach that cost us runs on multiple occasions.

Did he bet on those games? No idea.

Without an admission from him, phone records, etc. confirming it then it's all speculation.

His decisions at 3B and in terms of pitching changes certainly looked like a guy throwing a game.

I'm guessing Freight, Saint and I probably suggested as much multiple times in these threads the last 2-3 years

Gotcha. Thanks for the answers. Can't believe he used a university phone.

I literally quit watching games late last season because of the bullshite he was pulling during games.

Seeing the boys turn it around so quickly after his departure makes me even more pissed.

His comments on Pinckney being named SEC Player of the Week

As incredible a young man as I’ve ever encountered in my 24 years of broadcasting @AlabamaBSB. Has developed from a raw walk-on, into one of the most complete players in the nation. Phenomenal student, a great athlete, a kind and respectful young man. Even more amazing things ahead.

Suspicious for sure, but there was apparently a large bet made on the LSU series that threw up a red flag. It seems logical that if a large bet had been made at any other time in the year that also would have thrown up a red flag. Now, that doesn't mean there haven't been smaller wagers in other games.

Both Ole Miss (vs Austin Peay) and auburn (vs JSU) cancel their midweek games this week

Paden@Paden227·8h
Best case scenario

Bama sweeps 16-14

Auburn drops at least 1 to get to 16-14

Tennessee loses 2/3 to South Carolina to get to 15-15

Kentucky gets swept by Florida and finishes 15-15

If this happens we would be the 6 seed.

Scott Berry (Southern Miss coach) retired today. I know his name had been thrown out as a potential replacement by some.

He was at Meridian CC and USM and maybe others so I wonder if he is retiring for good or from Mississippi PERS with 25 years

Great coach. But not surprised he’s retiring. He was already 60. Had been at USM since 2001. And coached JuCO from 1991-2000 at Meridian. Didn’t seem the type to make a move at this point.

I'm late to this but I almost had a hernia from laughing at somebody's list for the next head coach that included BOBBY PIERCE! THE WHITE WHALE OF ALABAMA BASEBALL COACH REPLACEMENT (SPECIFICALLY FOR WELLS AND GASPARD) IS BACK!

Bobby Pierce was to Alabama baseball during the early/mid 2010s what Jon Gruden was to Tennessee football during the same period of time.

Pretty sure there was a lot of push behind Pierce back as far as 1994. Seems a lot of people wanted him over Wells at the time. And then of course every time the job was open after Wells retired his name would come up.
