24 LOB in first two games and i commented on it and someone shot me down after game one saying when you score a lot you will have a lot LOB. This team not being able to move runners over and get them home cost us game two. I am not sure how many LOB on game 3. O and sorry BP for game 2 did not help

A back-and-forth contest between Alabama and No. 6 Arkansas finished in favor of the Razorbacks, 5-4, on Sunday afternoon at Baum-Walker Stadium. The Crimson Tide moves to 21-8 on the season and 3-6 in Southeastern Conference action.

Both teams traded two runs apiece in the first before the Tide took the lead with one in the fifth. Arkansas answered in the home half, scoring a pair to take a 4-3 lead. Alabama countered for one in the sixth to even things up, but the Hogs came right back with a run of their own in the bottom of the frame for the 5-4 lead. The Crimson Tide reached the tying and go-ahead runs in the eighth but were unable to take advantage with the Razorbacks clinching the Sunday win and series victory.

Arkansas reliever Dylan Carter (4-0) got the win with Gage Wood picking up the save. Alabama reliever Garrett McMillan (0-1) suffered the loss.

From Head Coach Brad Bohannon
"This was a tough one. We had a chance to win a signature series on the road against a top-10 opponent. We just needed to make one more big pitch or get one more big hit. We did a lot of really good things this weekend, competed really, really well. Unfortunately, it just wasn't quite enough to win a series."

Not a good look for Bohannon to blow this series after trash talking on the field. Also not a good look for him to be 4-14 the last two years in one run SEC games.

Welp

All we had to do was open with UF, UK, and Ark

Who would have thought Kentucky looks to be a contender for first in the East?

We finally catch a breather and get MSU at home. Thank God they suck this year. We need a sweep but anything less than 2-1 and I’m going to pretty much lose all hope of us making a regional.

Good to see G Mac back even though he was rusty. If we can get 3-4 quality innings from him next weekend then things could be looking up.

If we are going to do anything this year, the next two SEC series are vital. Mississippi State and Auburn at home. Have Troy and USM midweek games in there too.

Alabama baseball will host a "Bark at the Park" night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Tuesday, April 4 for the Crimson Tide's matchup with the Troy Trojans.

Fans and their best canine friends are invited to take in the midweek game against the Trojans with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The game will feature a special $7 "Bark at the Park" ticket package for the first 100 fans that includes admission to the game, an Alabama collapsible dog bowl for the canine and access to the "Dog Zone" area in Section AA, BB, A and B. Additional tickets for this package can be purchased for $2

Season ticket holders who wish to bring their dog may do so as well with valid proof of vaccinations. Students in the Right Field Terrace are also welcomed to bring their dogs, using their ACT card to swipe in.

Patrons will check in at Gate 5 and will have access to seats in Section AA, BB, A and B. The Joe will also have two designated grass areas for dogs to do their business, located on the grass hill along the first base line and behind the batter's eye in center field.

Fans who wish to bring a dog to the game are required to purchase a "Bark at the Park" ticket package. Each dog will be required to have proof of vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella) through March 23 for admittance to the event. Only one dog per person is permitted. Fans will also be required to sign a waiver for their dog prior to entering The Joe. Waivers will be available at check-in but fans are asked to expedite the process by filling out the paperwork prior to arriving at the stadium. The waiver can be found here. LINK

I tell myself that we will either turn it around the next few weeks or Byrne will make the change at the end of the year. We will hopefully be all right either way. We just need out of this rut.
