This team is good enough to beat anyone in the country. Doesn't mean they will, but they certainly can.

Mac and Caden had really good regionals.

Really love having 2 old veteran SEC catchers who don't have great sticks but have pop and put up veteran at bats like Mac and Tamez.

don't want to discourage anyone, but I just looked up Wake's pitching and hitting stats. I didn't grab a screenshot of their hitting, but here is their pitching numbers on the season:

Good grief. Their number one guy is an absolute murderer. Makes Skenes look pedestrian. Might seriously think about throwing our number one on day 2.

Here’s hoping that the ACC was just down this year hitting wise.

You don't want to look at their #2s numbers, then. It's just as good.

They are the #1 team in the country. Did you expect they wouldn’t have a bunch of studs? They still have to perform and beat us.

A. couple of SI write ups

Alabama Baseball Rolls Over Boston College, Advances to Super Regional for First Time Since 2010

The Crimson Tide came out of the gates hot and never gave it up — moving on to the program’s eighth Super Regional appearance.

Jacob McNairy Saves Best For Last, Helps Alabama Baseball to Supers

McNairy turned in one of his best outings to help the Crimson Tide to its first super regional berth since 2010.

They are both the #1 team in the country and, possibly, the most complete #1 team in the country top to bottom in the last 4-5 years. However - a whole lot of people said that about Tennessee last year and they lost 2 of 3 at home to a #2 seed from the Statesboro Regional (Notre Dame).

It's baseball and we're a solid team with a deep pitching staff that has played some of the most talented teams in the country on the road already this season in wild environments (LSU, Arkansas, Florida). Nothing about next weekend will overwhelm these guys. We will have to play high level baseball in all 3 areas to win 2 games, though. Wake truly has no weak spots and it is very unlikely they give us much of anything. We're gonna have to battle them and find a way to win a couple games late.

Got this email from Bama this morning. According to the Wake site, noon Tuesday is when tix will go on sale to the general public. Probably won’t see any of these public tix unless they did like UA and sell standing room only

On to Super Regionals!
Alabama baseball is rolling to NCAA Super Regionals and will take on Wake Forest next weekend in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. If available, tickets for the general public will go on sale through the Wake Forest Ticket Office on Tuesday, June 6.

Only four super appearances? That doesn’t sound right, does it?

Supers only started in 1999. We went to the equivalent of the Supers in
- 1950 (CWS)
- 1983 (national runner up)
- 1991 (lost to FSU)
- 1995 (lost to Clemson)
- 1996 (went to CWS)
- 1997 (national runner up)
- 1998 (lost to Long Beach)

Actual Supers
- 1999 (CWS)
- 2006 (lost to UNC)
- 2010 (lost to Clemson)
- 2023 (TBD)

Wanted to share the post game interviews from games 1 (Jim Jarvis) and 2 (Andrew Pinckney). They interviewed McNairy last night but I don’t see it posted. Pinckney gives an emotional response when reflecting on former teammate Davis Heller who passed away unexpectedly last fall.
