I’ll be at the front gate next to the statue taking attendance so be sure to check in for the start of the Coach Vaughn era. No excused absences. Everyone’s going to be there, right? Right?

Good to see ya Chad. How did that other thread become such a trainwreck 99% of the time (and 100% of in-game)? Really kind of sucks. Used to be one of my favorite places to sit around and talk basketball - good and bad. Now it's like reading a game thread on TideFans during a football game.

I think I might watch a couple innings before heading home after the basketball game Saturday.

To your question, I think it’s because we got good. Only a core group of 5-10 of us loved talking basketball even when we were arse and knew how the season would end

Alabama Baseball's Rob Vaughn Era Finally Set for Opening Act (SI)

It's Opening Day once again for Alabama baseball, but this time, it's the start of a brand-new era.

Yeah, it got crazy over there for a while. It made reading the board annoying enough that I couldn't enjoy it so I just took a break for a couple weeks so I didn't have to read all that crap. There was a lot of emotion without much knowledge for long stretches.

I mean, it's not as if we didn't lose our minds in there and act angry at times. I'm pretty sure I said that Oats was a failure after the WKU loss .

But it always felt like we were sitting at a bar watching the game on TV. Now it feels like I'm sitting in Bryant Denny with all the rednecks behind me screaming about putting a fullback into the game or something.

Maybe we just need SABAN BEAR back?!?!?!?!

The mid-range game is key. We need to slow down the pace. Why don't we post up? We are shooting ourselves out of the game!

Gone but not forgotten. He's somewhere out there telling anyone who will listen that Mark Sears has Down's Syndrome.

Looking forward to watching some Bama baseball with the new staff. Good riddance to the last loser head coach.

Ben Hess looked really good, but this was Manhattan.

Bats need to wake up.
