Baseball is an odd sport. Hopefully sticks don’t go cold the rest of the series. Baseball is so streaky.

Indeed it is. Have y’all been saving the ace for Sunday’s? I know Butch has been quick to move ours up in the weekend in years past because our third guy was just not up to snuff and it was going to be an L either way.
I haven’t swapped to baseball mode but IIRC y’all have two guys that are very good on the hill, right? I know the one kid is elite.

Honestly if we go 4-5 the next 3 weekends I'll be over the moon. 3-6 and I won't even feel awful - then we have to beat the teams we should beat.

That’s another crazy thing about baseball. You can be close to average at most positions, but if you’ve got two guys that can shut down a team like that then you have a legitimate shot at making some noise in Omaha.

They said he's closer but nothing definitive. And with pitchers and injuries that's always a little scary.
